We've been going to the Noyes Street Cafe several times a month for years. We've always had a great experience because they're always on their game. They provide great food, service, and atmosphere at affordable prices. The food is fresh and well prepared. The consistency is amazing. Portions are large. The menu offers a variety of choices. We highly recommend... More

Went for brunch. It was ok food, mostly safe food for middle class mid-40's couples. Not very flavorful and pricey for being pretty boring. Right next to the L though. Should have taken the risk and ate at the DDogs across the street

Been here a number of times and am never disappointed. Lunches come with salad or soup and the entrees are well-made and ample.

we have eaten lunch and dinner here, but mainly have used it as a carry-out source. the restaurant ambiance is kind of dark and depressing. you can see these people are trying hard in a thin-margin business, and they always look exhausted and lifeless. the food is not bad, if unremarkable, in a crowded evanston field, lunch is the better... Don't go here for the ambiance. It feels like a glorified diner, and the service matches, but the food is very good and the portions are generous.

Nice comfortable neighborhood restaurant adjacent to the "L" tracks and Noyes Street station. They usually do a decent job on broiled fish entrees. Wine list has a fair variety although maybe a bit overpriced. It is the North Shore , however, so to be expected. Otherwise one can dine here with a glass of wine and get out for $25-35... More

This is a great place for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, popular with us locals and near campus. Friendly, efficient service and fresh food. Eclectic menu includes sandwiches, fish, salads, steak, veggie meals. Yummy burgers, really good whitefish and fabulous greek lamb chops., giant salads. Two people can eat lunch for less than $20 or have a lovely dinner with... More
