Nice meal on a cold night!

We were in Evanston for a college visit, and gave this pub a try. We loved the loaded potato soup, and the fish and chips were really good. We enjoyed it so much, that we went back a second time during our next visit to Northwestern, and we will return again. Nice friendly service, and good... read more

The pretzel and cheese appetizer is amazing! Maybe the best hot pretzel I've ever had! I've never had a bad meal here, and I've eaten here several times when I've been in town.

Pub was located near our hotel. After a long day of sightseeing and eating in Chicago we were looking for a light snack at night. The appetizers were delicious and had very generous portions. Beer specials were also a good deal. Friendly atmosphere and a enjoyable experience

We ate outside on a perfect summer evening and I loved this restaurant. My pot roast was fabulous and the serving was really big enough for two. My friend had the fish and chips and it looked good too. The only thing to be aware of is that the train runs right behind the restaurant so we had the occasional... More

Well if you're in the mood for serious bar food - this place doesn't disappoint. The sliders and fries are soooo good but filling.

Tommys is a good place to go for a beer or two (a very nice selection) and some good comfort food. The menu was pretty good and so was the food...I had a Reuben which was very tasty! It wasn't too crowded ( the middle of the week) and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Prices were good and... More

Tommy Nevin's is a classic pub with the charm of billiards, darts and sports being played on TV on every wall. They have a nice beer selection, nothing too obscure, but always good options. The food is solid, homey and fills you up.

Good all year round place, Great atmosphere, wide choice of beer. Irish standards all work well - fish and chips, shepherds pie. lamb burger s good too. Fish of day tend to be bland. Gnerous portions and good veggie sides

What a great place to go after a play. A "real" place. Neighborhood musicians play, entertain, and interact with the crowd. Great selection of beers.
