Great venue for dinner/drinks

While in town for business, it was suggested I go to Pete Millers as I LOVE jazz. Not disappointed whatsoever from the valet parking to the time I walked out. Dinner and music was superb! When in Evanston again, I will definitely visit Pete Miller's again!!

This is how it should be done. Nice atmosphere, great bar, delicious food, jazz by top musicians in Chicago.

Can't go wrong with Pete Miller's in Evanston. I had the King cut prime rib which was outstanding! My lady had the sea bass, also very good. There was a jazz trio playing along with a very good singer. We stayed after dinner and had a couple of drinks at the bar listening to the wonderful music.

Normally you can excuse a restaurant for a poor performance, but this experience pushes the limit. Service slow, orders confused, meat substandard and prices high.

We came to experience jazz and good food. While the food was great - service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant was not filled (on a Saturday night). Disappointed with music, they played 30 minutes and took a break for an hour. We passed them sitting at the bar using bad language on our way out.

We had a party of six and Pete Miller's. The service was excellent. MY husband had the bone-in rib eye which looked better than it tasted. My son and I had the sea bass. The fish was not presented well. It tasted fine...not great but was an unappealing plate....very boring. I went to hand one of the managers (was wearing... More

Lobster bisque and shrimp dejonghe are spectacular. Not crazy about their diet coke for cola fans. Bread and butter are delicious. Dark ambiance - great jazz music - service is very good.

Came with hubby some time ago. Decent! Just visited my friend & we decided to come here last night as we both had a taste for some quality meat & wanted to be able to walk there from her place! Kind of an odd choice for 2 ladies but hey, we had a taste for some steak, & to be... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Evanston. I especially enjoyed their "Kansas City prime strip", sadly these are no longer available. Their signature chopped salad is consistently delightful! On my last visit the shrimp was not fresh, service was inattentive and appeared skeptical of our claim. Still, I'll return.
