Nice atmosphere, good food, stiff prices

The selections were varied and the atmosphere was very nice. This is a higher end place where I would expect to celebrate something like an anniversary. I was here on a business meal and it was fine for that too. The wait staff was pretty attentive and prompt. The food was tasty. I had... read more

Simply fantastic! Oysters, perfectly cooked steaks, impeccably prepared cocktails, extensive wine offerings, miles of smiles, white-glove service, beautiful presentation. . . .honestly, one could not ask for more. If possible, stop at the bar to say hi to Tim the Bartender and Terry the host/GM. Great individuals! Their menu is extensive, they have something for everyone. My favorite are the... More

Very nice place... gave me a huge carrot cake for my birthday... the lamps were good... just didn't like the sauce they had for it... a bit drafty in the place.. felt at times a bit cold, and also felt it was tight in the place.

I went here for a business dinner and was thoroughly impressed. My filet was among the best I have had, the wine list was robust and the service attentive. A must taste for the serious foodie!

Really enjoyed our meal at Pete Miller's. My double boned pork chop was perfectly cooked and had an excellent glaze on it. My wife had the shrimp and scallop fettucini which she enjoyed greatly. The cocktails and wine selection were also good. The service was very good as well and live music too! A very pleasant experience!

I had high hopes for this restaurant as we took our daughter there during parent's weekend at Northwestern. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. Our waiter was nice but they sat him with a table of 15 people at the same time they sat us. Guess who got most of the attention. We were never even offered... More

Went to see and hear the 'Rhythm Rockets' play at this iconic restaurants. The music did not disappoint (jump n' jive style) but the food did. My appetizer was excellent (beef tartare) and so was the salad. But the French Onion soup was not up to par. The onions were just chopped up and put into the soup - still... More

The place is a classic, but the quality of the food does not match the quality of other Chicago restaurants that charge similarly. We ate there twice and I don't think we will be going back. Downtown Chicago has much better and more upscale steak house choices. The jazz concerts there are good, so go have a drink and enjoy... More

Certainly a prime meal. Excellent service, diverse menu, friendly waiter, nice atmosphere, entertaining jazz. A hundred bucks well spent. Only problem was parking!
