We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening. The food was good and the service was attentive and well paced. Scallops, Brook trout and profiteroles!!!

A hidden treasure in Evanston!! I love bistros and this French restaurant cooks up a delicious duck! Try the profiteroles for dessert! They are delicious. You just want more.

When you travel you know you've stumbled on a winner when you walk in and the interior looks authentic to the style of cuisine and the waiters are speaking in their native tongue. That's what I think anyway. But true to its first impressions, this traditional looking Parisian brasserie does not disappoint. The menu is seasonal and the dishes are... More

No onion soup on this Sunday night! Roasted chicken very salty and rather tasteless. Frisee au lardons lacked bite (no vinegar?) and had peculiar curry flavor. Saving grace were profiteroles, but we still were discouraged by the service and offerings.

My wife and i are big fans of Champagne brunches so we decided to give this place a go. What a great decision. The atmosphere is quaint with white tableclothes, waynes coating on the walls and a lot of French articles decorating the walls. The service was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable. We started out with a couple of galsses... More

I actually stumbled on this great little spot while roaming the streets of Evanston. This is a nice quaint restaurant with a friendly French flare. After ordering al cart, on Wednesday during August 2014 the GM, Nory told me for $29.00 I could have a salad, desert and a wonderful entree. Thanks Nory. Good tip, thanks for the honesty for... More

A welcoming neighborhood bistro, with excellent food and service. Menu is not extensive, but very approachable. Both fish and meats were well executed. Very nice wine list, and well priced. Service was attentive, without being overbearing. If it's nice out, ask for one of the few sidewalk tables.

Very cozy and warm atmosphere greets you upon entering. Dare I say "It's like going back to a favorite neighborhood Parisian bistro". The owner takes pride in creating a relaxed atmosphere with tasty bistro fare. He is very attentive to his customers. Very often there are specials involving wine and food pairings. Very busy on the weekends but laid back... More
