A great dining experience

First, my favorite part! THE FOOD! The menu is very eclectic, a little of something for everyone. It's not quite a tapas style, however most servings are easy to share. My husband and I shared the bacon wrapped dates, the lamb, and the artisan cheeses. Each were unique and absolutely melted in... read more

After reading and hearing about 'The Cellar', we came for dinner on a Saturday night. Perhaps it was the busy-ness of the evening, but I could not have been more disappointed. As was already described by another reviewer, the tuna ceviche was guacamole with tuna placed on top. The mussels were frankly awful: dry, flavorless, with a bland sauce with... More

I wanna be good with these guys but as we ran in here on a rainy day I needed something warm and good. The fried chicken was not a good choice, must be a bad day, the tequila choice could be better as making a sunrise is not popular I take it. The Tuna Ceviche was like guacamole with Tuna... More

The food is ridiculously cheap for what it is. The pot roast was really sensational and I hope that it will resurface. Always ask for the home made "pomme frittes" versus the regular fries. They recently removed the table cloths and it is a mistake in my opinion. It now look like a beer joint without the tvs.

Upscale experience at ridiculousely low price. Share the chef and the kitchen with the nore expensive Stained Glass. Very well prepared food. Removed recently the paper cloth on the tables and now it looks like any cheap bar and tv place in America!

This place is a sister combo. It's high rent The Stained Glass, or the more cozy The Cellar. We opted for 'cozy'. The place presents itself as a tapas place, but their servings are WAY too large to be classed as tapas in my tapa book. EVERYTHING we ordered was astoundingly presented, but especially the Shrimp Tacos. Ohh Laaa Laaa.... More

A small gem serving small plates with a warm smile. Friendly staff, good wine and beer lists, with a nice variety of small plates for sampling or sharing. The food is good, the ambience is casual, tasteful, slightly dimmed lighting with contemporary tunes that add to the experience without challenging conversation levels. Moderately priced. Good place for a date, couples,... More

Intimate yet open. Great beers, terrific eats with smaller portions. No giant burgers or huge meat plates here. Service is very good. No reservations so plan accordingly.

Went for a friend's birthday, the menu featured a number of "small plates" to try amongst our table. Some small plates were bigger than others and could be considered a full meal. The sliders were great! The drink menu was also vast and had great variety. Service was great too. Without reservations on a weekend, expect a fairly long wait... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a place that shares a kitchen with a more expensive, and more formal, sister restaurant. The portions are usually of perfect size to share with 3 or 4 people, but when necessary, they are very accommodating in adding extra pieces. The menu has a definite structure, but leaves plenty of room for seasonal... More
