Edzo's has good burgers, great shakes, decent fries. There is always a line out the door at lunch time and they close at 4 pm. Seems like the place to go, but the line may not be worth it.

To me the fries were too salty. Nothing special that would warrant a trip from Wheeling to go to again.

In Evanston for a couple of days and wanted something unique. TA research rated this place high. Classic burgers and fries and lots of variations of them. Shakes are great , fries are awesome. Lots of character in the place with everyone yelling behind the counter. This place attracts all kinds: students , profs, business folks, moms with kids. Go... More

This is a Hamburger joint, no frills, and nothing fancy about it, and yet the burgers and the fries are excellent. If my 18 year old son and I can actually enjoy the same food, it means the food was mmm good.

A great tasting burger in a college town,! Wash it down with a yummy coffee shake. We love the burgers. We will definitely be back!

Often long lines; go at an off-hour time like 3pm. Very good made to order burgers; great fries; excellent shakes (ask for 'the Elvis' - not on the menu chocolate shake with peanut butter and bananas. Nothing fancy; but a good burger joint. Don't even try to sit down before you've placed your order!

Constant line-ups to place an order tells a good story about this local burger joint: grilled burgers, freshly made fries and decadent milk shakes, to name the most popular items. The ambiance takes you back in time, albeit a tight dining space. Having said this, expect longer line-ups when Northwestern football team plays home games. This time, I ordered the... More

Lots of options for burgers and fries. Got a single with cheddar, bacon, and a fried egg. Very good, a bit small, but you can always order a double or triple. The garlic fries were out of this world.

Nice place. Good food. Loved the variety of fries to order. Thought the burgers were a touch on the small side, but still tasty and flavorful. Prices may seem high to people, but the taxes were included. This makes the prices reasonable for a location near Lake Michigan. I visited on a Saturday late afternoon, between lunch and dinner time,... More

I love their homemade shakes (banana nutella is my favorite). Their portabella burger is delicious. Try their specialty ketchups on it. The fry choices are very good but extremely filling. I would recommend splitting a serving.
