I usually eat at the Globe once a week. The food is superior. This restaurant and bar are hidden away in the Hilton Orrington Hotel in Evanston. It is quiet, relaxing, has a very good menu, and has great service. It you want a really healthy meal order the large house salad with a chicken breast. It is an excellent... More

I had an excellent breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, 2 slices of grilled ham, home fries, and English muffin. Cost was only $9.00. Great quality and taste for a very low price. Most unusual for a Hilton.

Whenever we come to Evanston, we almost always eat at the Globe at least once if not more. We like the menu and love the ambiance. The outdoor tables in the warmer weather are a must.

Stopped for a quick breakfast. Ordered the eggs benedict. Except for the artificial taste of the hollandaise sauce, everything was pretty tasty. Service was good, too.

The staff in this restaurant was so friendly and courteous. The food was beautifully prepared and presentation was beautiful as well. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you do not want to venture out and about your first day .

Yum! We only had an assortment of appetizers (including quartered Reuben sandwiches) but they were all so good that we kept going back for thirds and fourths! The wings are fantastic and large.

This is primarily a breakfast and lunch place. Although while staying at the hotel in which the restaurant is housed, I did manage to eat here one night, I did not think the fare was quite up to the standard it should be for dinner. It was certainly a competent breakfast, however, for a hotel, and the staff and service... More

I had a very good, filling, and relatively inexpensive breakfast at the Globe. Really good pancakes, eggs, potatoes and bacon, served quickly. Nicely done.

For a quick breakfast, stop by the Globe Café in the Orrington. Steps away from Northwestern University, the friendly staff will assist you promptly with mouth watering selections on their morning menu. I kept my morning simple with a bagel, but my companion had French toast that looked scrumptious. I have a few suggestions--one, keep the water glass filled throughout... More

Tonight, we tried the seared salmon filet and the steak frites. The taste is wonderful. The kid can have a free burger, free fruit & milk, with the order of an entree. The service is very nice and we are seated in the private cabin. Great experience!
