They just remodel the one in Elk Grove Village, IL and the pizza is so good. The salad is huge. You just can't stop eating the pizza it's that good. Low fat cheese isn't bad either. The restaurant itself was very nice.

Grew up in Chicago and thus, I have been fortunate to have had lots of really good pizza in my life. Chicago's pizza is better than anywhere else I have been, even in the cities where it's damned good, and there are many, many, many out there. BUT OF ALL THESE PLACES IN CHICAGO AND ELSEWHERE, LOU MALNATI'S IS THE... More

Got a deep dish delivered. It was in a nice box with literally 35 napkins but that didn't make up for the food quality. Deep dish appeared to be frozen, preformed dough. Spinach was barely present. Cheese was good quality with stringy texture. Sauce was good- chunky and little sweet. I would recommend a different crust if this is your... More

Been a while since I had Lou's, so I had to visit again when I was in town. Had the calamari (really good), and a sausage personal pan pizza (also good). A Chicago area classic, don't miss it!

First time here and we didn't have extra 30 mins for pizza so we ordered sandwiches. We both got the beef with melted provolone and it's huge had to take half home. U can get fries or cottage cheese with fresh fruit as your side. Service was excellent & friendly.

They have s few locations so I can only speak for the one in Elk Grove Village. The deep dish pizza is excellent and for that I would give it a 5. However, the appetizers are so-so at best and the ice tea tastes like it was made with powdered mix in tap water ... I would give those a... More

Yumm, yumm all I can say. The restaurant is not fancy, but a very family friendly atmosphere. Servers are very pleasant, and aim to please. WELL PIZZA, is the best ever, I live in CHI TOWN, where we have the BEST FOOD in the USA. If you like lots of ingredients on your PIE, get the LOU. I was pleasantly... More

I used to eat a Lou's a lot when I lived in the area about 30 years ago and have not been back in a while, until last night. Was happy to see that the pizza was still as good as I remembered. Deep dish crust was not too heavy and doughy as some places can get. The perfect proportions... More

One of the few "musts" everytime I make it back to the Chicago area. Great Pizza. Great atmosphere. This place was a favorite during the days of my youth and still delights. A bit different than most traditional Chicago style pizzas but wonderfully done overall. I wouldn't call it the "best" but give it a go if you're near one,... More

The deep dish pizza crust is not too thick and crisp; not soft. Perfect for my taste. I got the Chicago Classic, and the amount of cheese and sausage was very generous. There is a vegetarian pizza I will probably try next time; did not see a vegan option. The Spinach salad has seasonal fruit which was pears in February,... More
