Just Lunch

Ordered the Chili, Garden Salad and Baked potato. Salad and potato were very good. Chili was quite spicy which I could tolerate but not fully enjoy. Far too hot for the average customer. Very good service.

The ribeye steak is enough for 2 people. The steak was cooked to perfection and the wait staff was very friendly and knew all about the meals on the menu. Th fries were large and they give you a big amount. Price is average.

Somewhat pricey, but the food is good if prepared the way you ask. The medium-well hamburger was under-done and bloody in the center. The well-done one was medium-well, pink in the center but overall OK. They were out of the advertised special on draft PBR beer but substituted Miller Light for the same price. The real kicker was that as... More

We were here for dinner, 4 people. They were having issues with some gizmo so, no soft drinks. Not a big deal, I am sure they fixed it. Food was as expected, it is a chain after all. Tables could be cleaner, service was a little slow but again, it is a chain.. deliver nothing varied, not locally owned.

We don't live that close but my husband received a gift card from a business associate for Christmas so we thought we'd try it out. We waited it the waiting area, which was very cold every time the door opened. I felt bad for the girl holding the door open only wearing sweater instead of coat. We waited exactly the... More

We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken promptly. The server we received was excellent. She timed when we received our appetizer, soup, and entree perfectly. She checked back with us often. The potato skins were very good. The baked potato soup was delicious. We ordered the pork chop and the sirloin steak salad for entrees. The pork... More

Our family loves the casual atmosphere and great food offered at the Lone Star. This restaurant, in particular, is located near the shopping areas and also the theater. Our waitress was extremely courteous and listened to our special diet requests. Our food was delicious, as usual, and reasonably priced. We always make a point of going to this restaurant when... I arrived shortly after 1:00 p.m. on a weekday for lunch, and there was no one to greet any incoming customers. After waiting nearly five minutes, I used the restroom before any employee approached and seated me. I ordered the BYOB (build your own burger) promotion and asked that it be cooked medium, verifying that the cook would understand that... More

My wife and I stopped here for an early dinner about 5.00 pm on a Monday. As expected, the restaurant was almost empty at this time on a Monday evening. I was in the mood for a big juicy steak and spouse looked forward to the endless entree catfish. The lettuce wedge was just as always remembered, fresh, crispy and... More

We've been to this Lone Star location many times. We've had really good experiences, and really bad experiences. On our last experience, I received an email highlighting the Lone Star 2 for $20 dinner. It included 2 side salads, 2 entrees and a side dish for each. There was one steak offered among the handful of entrees which was the... More
