We visit once a year from Chicago and make this our daily coffee run. It is by far the best coffee we have had. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is adorable. We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

This is ALWAYS a stop for us in Effingham. From delicious, creamy soups in fresh, sourdough bread bowls to stacked club sandwiches to amazing paninis, there is something here to satisfy you. And, they have the hummus plate with tortilla chips and fresh veggies for that vegetarian in your family, too! The coffees are delicious, but they also have a... More

Two different days this week I have called to place an order for pick up--and NEITHER day did they bother answering the phone. Yes, they were open, yes, I doublechecked the phone number...but it just rang and rang and rang. Also, they are a bit pricey and some of the staff is quite snooty.Guess they think they are too good... More

Stopped here on way to Az as a result of good reviews. Coffee was good but santa fe wrap just very average. Not much flavor. Chips and dip good.

Very unique setting, great food and drinks. The environment is top notch. It's got a great hometown feel and is definitely a place I'd take out of town guests. Neat place to even go and study or just catch up with friends.

Had an excellent southwest chicken wrap and Katies salad was huge and very fresh and tasty. My daughters choice was her regular hummus plate (she's a native regular). We all shared a piece of their carrot cake which was fantastic and a difficult choice because the chocolate cake looked just as good.

My husband and I like to eat here on a lazy weekend afternoon. The food is and coffee drinks are good as long as you have enough time to wait. There is a reason why they have board games, magazines, and newspapers to keep you busy because you have to wait a very long time for a sandwich and a... More
