I have been to Bigelo's a few times, and every time i have gone my food seems to be a little on the bland side. However, the prices are very reasonable.

This is my regular go to place in Edwardsville. I try to get there once a week. Love the atmosphere and the attentive friendly servers and owners. Great ale and wine. Must try the king of clubs sandwich, cheddar beer soup, and homemade chips. Daily specials and a little something for everyone.

My wife and I dine here about once a month and always have great meals. Usually get one of the specials. Good selection of beer and wines.

What a great food find in Edwardsville. Reasonable prices, lively atmosphere, wonderful food, and attentive servers. The food menu included a wide variety of offerings so there is definitely something for everyone. Highly recommend the Piggelo sandwich with the fresh homemade sweet potatoes chips. They also offer a wide variety of wines and beers. The homemade vanilla bean ice cream... More

Yup, comfort food, but artfully prepared. The only place I know to get a FOUR CHEESE grilled cheese (complete with a tomato slice) and the best basil infused tomato soup you'll ever have. Very, very nice servers & a nice selection of wines.

No matter how may times I've eaten here Bigelo's never fails to deliver a quality meal. The craft beer selection(draft and bottles) is worth mentioning.

Stopped in a for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the Bigelow sandwich. It is a good size open face sandwich with a side (I had the house salad.) Also enjoyed an adult beverage from their wide selection of beer.

We tried several things on the menu Polenta Fries - so so; Beer Cheddar soup - very tasty! Greek salad - wonderful flavors! & their Bigelos Special Pizza- It was great!! Wished we would have ordered the 7 inch instead as the rest of our samplings kinda filled us up. Since we were traveling we had half a pizza leftover... More

I'm sorry, but the food was not special at all, especially if you have lived and eaten elsewhere in the US. Pizza looked liked Pizza Huts personal pan and tasted frozen. Pasta with chicken was overloaded with garlic pieces and my guest couldn't eat it. And he loves garlic. Very disappointed.

This is a bar restaurant rather than a citified bistro. The choices are standard fare for burgers, fries, and heavy soups, esp with cream. Most items are fried, very heavy items ie; sandwiches with fries, pastas, pizza, limiting a memorable dining experience. If one is celiac, has a milk allergy or refrains from fried foods, skip this restaurant. The cuppa... More
