My wife and I have eaten here multiple times. It's definitely not fast food. Everything is made to order, and it shows in the final product. The chef clearly knows what he is doing, from the Korean egg drop soup (some of the best we've ever had) to the Bibimbap, the Bulgogi, and the Ramyun. The Gim rolls are awesome... More

Great food! We ate the chicken bulgogi bowl and bibimbap. It tasted like the food I had when I was in Korea. The restaurant was really nice, and clean. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I had never had Korean food. But this was really good. The egg rolls were delicious and we both had the chicken bowl and it was very good. The portion size was small, but it was the lunch size. Next time I think I will order off the menu in hopes of having a bigger portion. The service was very... More

I stopped in while on a trip to Edwardsville for home repair supplies. Honestly just thought it was a Chinese restaurant. Turned out to be Korean food which I've never had before. The server very patiently explained what a few dishes were for me since I had no clue what I was looking at. IT WAS GREAT! Very light, not... More

My husband and I enjoy the Oriental Spoon and often stop in just to get their pork egg rolls served with peanut sauce. For dinner I usually order the pork Bulogogi - very good.

The food was fine, but I thought it was overpriced. The iced teas are scrumptious, but, again, pricey.

I lived in Taegu, South Korea/ROK, for three years back in the early 80's and so ate quite a bit of Korean food. This place has several of my favorites, and the cooks do a great job. We sometimes eat in and sometimes get carry-outs, and the food has been consistently excellent. Get the glass noodles. You won't be sorry.... More

I love Oriental Spoon and they have won awards, but when I go it is not crowded. I would like to see more people there, because the food is good and I want to keep eating there.

The Oriental Spoon is an upscale, yet cozy little Korean restaurant. The servers are very knowledgeable and are great at explaining what all of the difficult-to-pronounce dishes really are and recommending something. Their appetizers are great- I would recommend the gim rolls or Man-du. To drink, try some of their real fruit hot tea- pear and plum are my favorites... More

If you like Korean food (or like Asian cuisine, but haven't yet tried Korean), this is the place to go! The bulgogi, ramen, bi bim bap, or japchae are to die for. This family run business gives special thought to their dishes, especially presentation - without the price of high-end restaurants. The atmosphere is simple, but classy - the servers... More
