I met a group of friends at Peel. As always, it was extremely busy and we had to wait. They do not accept reservations. The food is always worth the wait. They offer great salads and unique wood fired pizzas. It offers a great atmosphere and excellent service. It is a little on the pricey side, but worth the splurge.... More

While visiting our daughter who attends SIUE, we discovered this place. Be prepared to wait for a seat no matter what time you go. The menu is far more than just pizza with a wide selection of pastas and salads. But you have to try the pizza the choice is toppings is broad and the taste is amazing. Their servers... More

The crust is delicious. Be prepared to try a Maple Bourbon Pork or Jerk Chicken pizza if you decide to go. They do offer pepperoni or sausage, however most of their varieties are more unique. I don't particularly care for their Caesar salad, it doesn't have much taste, but this is a good pizza option for a date night :)

Pizza was really delicious, waitress was really nice and helpful. Mushroom soup that my wife had tasted like a canned soup and was not good. Good place to have pizza!

Heard about this place from a newspaper article.... Great atmosphere.... Great staff! Got the wings plain with sauce on the side.... Honestly you don't need the sauces! Great flavor! The pizza was very good (wood fired)! I recommend this place and will be back!

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary last week. We had heard this place was good with unique pizzas and we were not disappointed. We only waited 10 minutes for a table (we were willing to sit outside). I would recommend this place and will be back.

This is one of those little restaurants that started small, earned a huge following, have not expanded, so the wait can be incredible. No reservations. There is a little patio that looks out into the forests. The pizza is fantastic (try the mushroom with the truffle oil) and you have to get the antipasto plate. Unique and tasty desserts also.

There are so many innovative flavor combinations at Peel - but my favorite is their Nutella S'mores Pizza! I've been to the restaurant twice (so far) - the first time my pizza was overcooked (burnt), which seems to happen often with wood fired pizzas - the second time it was cooked perfectly. The environment, even when crowded, is relaxed and... More

The breakfasts are large portion for the dollar. The lunch sandwiches are the freshest and enough for a next snack. They have quite a collection of teas to choose from, which sometimes is hard to do. The ones I have tried so far are just so full of flavor. What a great little gem in an easy to get to... More
