I went with a friend after my picky dad went and was impressed. I loved the outdoor seating! The beer selection was wonderful, and the beer sampler was very reasonable (four 5oz selections for $9). We started with salads, the were huge! Everything was fresh and delicious. The pizza was light and refreshing. This definitely does not have the heavy... More

I can't understand the reviews on this place. Tried it twice and it just seems to be overpriced, mediocre pizza. I'll never go back after being charged an extra $1.50 for parmesan cheese to sprinkle over my pizza. It's not the cost as much as The principle but that's just cheap. I guess they haven't thought about charging for salt... More

If you like a more eclectic variety of pizzas that are thin and wood fired, this is the place for you. Craft beer selection is excellent. Not cheap and not fast.

It's sometimes hard to get a seat at Peel. If you're reading this review wondering if you should go somewhere else, the pizza is completely worth the wait. Have another drink at the bar. This is pizza you'll dream about.

I just absolutely love everything I've tried at Peel. Both times I've been, we all order different pizzas and apps or dishes and share so we can all try different things. My favorites: pizza-Chicken gorgonzola; app- brown truffle risotto cakes (gosh my mouth just watered a little), and dishes- buffalo mac-n-cheese. Yes, the wait is a little long depending on... More

On all subsequent trips to Edwardsville, we will be back. Although there will be a wait if you arrive near typical meal times, it's worth the wait. The pizza is in the top 5 I've had across many countries. They have some very creative toppings, and are happy to do substitutions to make it vegetarian. Great beer selection. Nice decor.

The wait was way too long, longer than they said it would be. There is not even close to enough waiting room for while patrons are waiting on a table. It was incredibly crowded and uncomfortable. There are a lot of selections at the bar, but you have to wait a very long time to get served. The pizza was... More

Peel Wood Fired pizza is one of the best pizzarias in Edwardsville, IL. With a little bit different in the set up and pricing compared to Dewey's, Peel uniquely wins over hearts and souls that full with pizza dough! As expected in any wood fired pizza, the crust is sensational. I do not care much for their wings and Thai... More

Bar has a good selection of beers. Love the beer samplers, pick 5, then go for 5 more. Friendly bar staff. The proschitta involtina & Caesar salad make a good start. Then finish with a proschitta pizza. Very friendly staff.

Had a great lunch with my kids at Peel - we all had their 11" individual pizzas - mine was pepperoni and my son's was buffalo chicken - both were great. Service was very good and drinks were refilled frequently. We were offered a very delicious looking key lime tart but we just too full!
