Quaint and full of charm and character

A sweet place for breakfast or lunch located in an old turn of the century building. Also available for afternoon teas. Perfect for a baby or wedding shower or just a celebration. Food and service very good but prices a bit high for what you get.

I absolutely love this place! The food is always homemade and something creative but tasty. I normally come for lunch - love the soup and sandwich specials - but their pastries and baked goods are tempting enough to make me stop by just for a snack! The atmosphere is also super cool with lots of natural wood and interesting things... More

We stopped for a cup of coffee, and stayed for lunch. Enjoyed shopping in the fun little market downstairs. Neat decor; great service, albeit a bit slow, but the place was busy and we were in no hurry. Chicken salad sandwich was amazing, and the still-warm homemade lemon bars...well, I want one right now just writing about it. A fun... More

We ate here a year ago and loved it. We ate here yesterday and disliked it. While we were waiting for our meal, a lady hung pictures over our table. She was still doing it when the food arrives, so our meal was delayed. We asked to be moved, but were told no, she'll be done soon. We were seated... More

This restaurant is very nice atmosphere. It is kind of like a tea room with an antique store in the basement. The food was very fresh. i had the chicken salad and it was excellent. It is a bit pricey, but it is all home made and fresh breads.

Really think it's over priced for what you receive. Could use some better management team since there was not a good flow of service. Hope it can improve, Decatur does need variety. Their basement with it's goods was quaint and I enjoyed it.

Our service was good, the coffee fantastic and the good great. Yes I recommend time to enjoy the atmosphere. The only downside is their limited hours.

I suggest looking at their menu of daily specials on Facebook or on the website. I went on a day that the featured soup was German Potato Soup. It was delicious. They have a selection of quiche every day. I had the roasted pepper and mushroom. I would order it again.

My book club loves to go here for breakfast in the summer. All the pasties are delicious, and I always get the currant iced tea. They have a separate room you can reserve for tea parties, and the basement is home to a little antique store. I love the homey atmosphere with mismatched tables and chairs, but the food is... More

My 1st visit for lunch. And I will definately be back!! The food was fabulous! I had a quiche & salad with poppyseed sesame dressing. The meal also came with a small brownie; which is the perfect size sweet after your meal :) They have soup, sandwich & salad, along with pastries & coffee. A monthly menu for daily specials....
