A nice surprise

Good lunch specials. The orange blossom lemonade was very refreshing. Friendly service and tasteful decor. Not the best sauces, but we enjoyed our entrees overall. We really liked the thin and crispy pita wraps. Be careful, the bathroom door sticks. Definitely worth a visit.

so many delicious items on the menu! I often like to go for the sunday buffet to enjoy a little of everything. The hummus and Baba Ghanoush are staples, however if you want to try more than the typical fare (Gyros, Shwarma, and Falafal, all of which are excellent) Omar, the owner includes several family recipes from his home in Syria.... The hummus is freshly made and the best in DeKalb. The gyros sandwich is large with lots of meat. The fries are crisp and tasty!

Nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. My husband and I ate here when the restaurant wasn't busy over NIU Christmas break. Service was great, food delicious and ambiance was nice too. We both had wine, an appetizer, kabobs, and dessert. Perfect meal and evening.

Authentic and wonderful. I recommend trying the Sunday buffet. Its an opportunity to try a little of something. Then finishing with a cheese halawa and a Turkish coffee.

Looking for something different? Sunday brunch at a great price. Good, authentic food, freshly made. Bonus, the kids eat for half price.

If you have been to the Middleast you will likely fall in love with cuisine. Hummus and falafel are so addicting. The Americanized gyro phenomenon is a sad imitation. Enter Mediterraneo. One look at the menu and you will immediately know this is an authentic restaurant. Dishes that sound exotic and delicious. Also the perennial favorites in most middle east... More

If you are ANYWHERE near Dekalb, you should eat here. The food is so fresh, tasty, & unique, portions were large, & the service was excellent. We had the appetizer sampler which had traditional hummus & baba ganouj, but it also had Muhamara & that I've never had before. It's a roasted red pepper dip that is delicious!!! I recommend... Love, love , love! Great gyro, tasty French fries, homemade hummus is delicious, kabobs grilled to order, and the Greek salad is so amazing, I order it every time! Do not miss the cheese barak appetizer and the homemade baklava for dessert. Great international wine selection without the pretense. Casual attire but great for a date or family meal. My... More

Went for dinner. The food was excellent. The service was good but the drinks were a little overpriced. The atmosphere was a little depressing for my taste because of the brick walls.
