First, the salsa was excellent. A little thick but great flavor, even a slight kick of which I loved. I would imagine its homemade. I enjoy fajitas so I had chicken and asked them to add chorizo. It was a perfect size and had the right amount of onions and peppers. Side dish of rice and retried beans not to... More

The food was ok, but the service were very slow. Were not prepared to handle a big group! Dislike the service!

The decor is classic Mexican. It's conveniently located for the hotels and convention center. Staff are polite and reasonably efficient. The food is barely adequate. I had a chicken quesadilla and the meat was tough. Some of our party left a lot of their portions. I've eaten in a lot better places.

Had opportunity to have dinner at this location on a recent business trip. Very nice looking place from outside, and inside matched. There is a nice seating area outside when weather permits. I had the shrimp fajitas, which were very tasty. Service was very good overall. There house made salsa and chips were also very good. Would return for more... More

With a ton of Mexican places around these days, it takes a lot for a place to stand out. This one does, as we have eaten here several times and it is always good. They even have a guy walking around making balloon animals from time to time.

I went alone during a business trip. They have very good food and a more upbeat atmosphere. You can enjoy a ballgame, listen to your playlist on Touchtunes and they also have a very nice outdoor patio area when the weather allows.

A family party of 14 was booked there because not many restaurants in area were open on holiday and had space. We had hoped for two large round tables but a parade of smaller ones were shoved together. This place used to serve the best carnitas to be found ANYWHERE. Menu and recipes have changed. 5 of 14 received food... More

The building Zapata's is in began maybe 30 years ago as Su Casa. It was good then, closed for a while, and eventually became Zapata's. Movie buffs may recognize the mural on the front as looking like Cheech's Aztec dream from one of the Cheech and Chong movies. Seriously though, it is a good reasonably priced place. It has a... Food was good for the price and a great selection on the menu. Lots of good drink specials. Patio area for dining, partially covered and pet friendly. The chips and salsa were fantastic! Had some ants all over the bar. The margarita mix was quite strong (not alcohol, tasted like they didn't dilute a concentrate enough). Overall was a decent... More

The decor is funky but the food is good. Their thin and crispy chips and salsa are very tasty. I got the shrimp fajita nachos. I really liked them but the cauliflower was a little weird on them. The queso dip with beans is especially good. The kids were happy with their tacos.
