My wife and I visited Ravanelli's twice in late March. I usually post reviews quickly, but I've been struggling with this one. We really wanted to like this place, but it didn't happen. We had seen glowing reviews on TA and thought this would be right for us while visiting Collinsville. The first visit was a Friday in Lent. A... More

This is a little Italian place in my hometown of Collinsville. Couldn't tell you how many good meals i've had here but I cant complain even with a a few shortcoming. The food is usually top notch. Service is on spot .. and the atmosphere is awsewome!!!! itail / fried chicken/ steak place.

We thought we would stop here for drinks and appetizers. But it is really a chicken restaurant for families. The dinners were reasonable and looked good. We found their bar was limited to beer and wine. No chianti in an Italian restaurant? The waiter knew nothing about the wine they had. The appetizer platter we had was very good, except... More

I went on a buffet night and it was the first Italian buffet I had ever been to. I love Italian food and it did not disappoint. There was a ziti with red sauce, a white sauce pasta dish, fish, steak, chicken, two types of salad and a few side dishes and all for $10.99. It was well worth the... More

I'd eaten at the Granite City location years ago, but the buffet at this location was recommended. Ate there for the first time tonight. I'm guessing that items ordered off the menu are better, because the only 'hot' items on the buffet that were actually hot were the chicken (if a piece was picked from the bottom), the rigatoni, and... I had a good pasta meal, very tasty and the sauce was zesty. Plenty of food, didn't go away hungry. Enjoyed the experience.

We were a party of 7 without reservations, before a child's college graduation. We were seated immediately, but did have to wait a while on the food. We still had plenty of time to make it to the graduation and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the all-you-can eat fried chicken dinner. The fried chicken was awesome, as were the... More

Once again, relied on Trip Advisor reviews for a place to eat in a strange town. Everybody raved about the fried chicken. We got two thighs, a great salad, homemade soup, hot homemade bread, and choice of potato for $5.99. Almost felt guilty for paying so little for so much great tasting food. This place is a true treasure. No... More

Had dinner at restaurant with some colleagues. Had soup along with Spaghetti and Meatballs for dinner. Colleagues had Fried Chicken special, and had good things to say about it. Will return. Great Value. Fast service.

I live in the collinsville area and had a friend visit. We went to what I considered to be one of the best restaurants in the area. I was let down and embarrassed by the quality of service and food items ordered. The server was terrable, when I complained (which is unusual for me, I was told by the manager... More
