Great authentic Italian food! Never disappointed! We are return guests. Wonderful choices of pasta & entrees. Nice wine list.

We went to Riccardo's for my husband's bday dinner. Food was average and void of ambiance. Unfortunetely I had the impression that this was an "intimate" resturant. We soon found that it was very small and they allowed a large table of extremely loud patrons to continue their antics for the duration of the evening. We could not even hold... More

A lovely little place - with amazingly great Food. We were a party of 8 - ordered a variety of appetizers for the table - each one more delish than the next one. I had the risotto with mushrooms for my main meal - heavenly We were there in March - so a little cold outside to wander - but... More

Intimate restaurant with knowledgeable and authentic Italian serving staff. Complimentary bruschetta followed by a nice shared appetizer and salad, with a superb rack of lamb and grouper dishes capped the evening. Parking is impossible, so opt for the $8 valet.

This was our 2nd visit to this neighborhood gem and we chose to dine off of the $33 Restaurant Week menu. We expected smaller portions which is usually the case with such promotions but here we received full-size servings that were large enough to serve two people each. Three of us started with the soft-shell crab appetizer and the other... More

My friends and I chose this fantastic gem for our first reunion since our Italian vacation this past June. The restaurant was perfect and reminded us so much of the trattoria's we enjoyed in Bologna and other cities during our stay. The staff could not have been nicer. We closed the place down without a complaint of our loudness, laughter... More

My longing for the food, wine and simple presentations of the Italian trattoria have been realized in my dining experiences at Riccardo's. It follows the Italian model of casual (yet refined) service, moderate prices and regional food predictably prepared by a Milanese transplant who knows his way around an Italian kitchen. After 15+ years traveling, eating and cooking in Italy... More

Even the side order of grilled vegetables star here. The plate includes slices of small, fresh artichokes. Fabulous.

Classic Lincoln Park Italian restaurant; small, intimate, and friendly. Service was prompt and food was good. The only critical comment we have is the entree's were a little bit too salty. Also, be aware the table close to the door catches the cold draft in winter. You can't go wrong making a reservation.
