Lunch menu was eclectic and plenty of choices. Service was efficient but somewhat uneven. Excellent bread. Iced tea - tasteless. Good items on the menu were the pasta (w/shrimp) - expertly prepared with great tasting fresh ingredients. Average were the calamari and salads. Well below average - mushroom pizza - poor quality all around.

Stopped at their window across from Stan's donuts to grab a donut as the line was long so figured it must be good, and the locals in line said they were better than Stan's. Red Velvet donut we had was the best donut we have ever had. Worth a stop just for a donut, as they are that good.

Why, you ask? Because you simply CANNOT have one if you eat here, by the door, under a speaker, next to the server's station listening to Nirvana and Pearl Jam at crazy loud volume. And I even LIKE 90's music! We should have asked to move right away, but the place was busy on a Saturday night. Yes, Wicker Park... More

After having awful treatment at Piece down the road on North Ave, my friends & I redirected our early dinner group to Francesca's Forno. Straight off the Blue line, I've been eyeing this place out for quite a while. Upon entrance, we had the sweetest host who was incredibly jolly & directed our group to the table next to the... More

Found the place by chance and can nothing than recommend it! Very, very good thin crust! Had the Diavolo topping and it was really spicy! Friendly and fast service.

WE went for our friends 50th birthday and had an amazing dinner! Our waiter Glenn was perfect! Loved it so much we are going back this weekend. Best fish I think I've ever had!

We enjoyed grabbing some drinks and brunch at this place. We had a donut sampler which i was just gaga about. They actually get the donuts from Glazed + Infused so maybe i should be reviewing them … they were AMAZING. We did have a problem with service here. On everything we ordered, i'm pretty sure our server consistently forgot... More

Pasta was very fresh with delicious tomato sauce. I'd highly recommend the cavatelli with mozzarella. That alone would make me go back for lunch or dinner. The portion size was perfect and presentation was good. The garbage salad was huge and very filling. It had a bit too much dressing for our tastes though. We went for a second visit... More

This place was one of the few places we could get in with a small wait on a busy Friday night in the heart of the holiday season and the food was good. Not completely traditional Italian but very close to the real deal. The bar area has nice little standing area to accomodate a minor wait, which was convenient.

Food here is okay, a little oily but that's fine. The noise level is INCREDIBLE ! It's a youngish crowd and they squash everyone together coupled with loud and bad 80s music and you get volume levels that are off the scale. There is also a great emphasis on quick turnover so don't go here expecting to linger over your... More
