Amazing and fresh food

The cocktails were so good and the fish was so fresh and delicious. The service is a little slow however and our waiter just disappeared at some moment. Maybe since tips are automatically included in the tab, waiter don't feel the need to be nice or attend a table respectfully

We ate here on a recommendation. It was conveniently situated to our hotel and the shops, and offered all day dining, which we needed. Arriving at the booked time of 16:30, it took some minutes to find somebody to seat us. Our waitress was terrific, but as the place got busier she was left with too many tables to serve.... More

Been here a few times and I'd say I am always satisfied of their food. I am not much of a seafood fanatic but the food served here made me realize how great and delicious seafood can be. Service is great and the atmosphere of the place is nice. I like the bar area as well. Cocktails were fine.

Food was great, soup was made in front of me, to perfection. The Lobster was great, the steak was cooked to perfection and the chocolate bag finished off the meal. Simply superb.

Started At Indi and We loved it. We decided to hit this one at Chicago at it was awesome. The service was great, the food was phenomenal and it was once again a pleasure for us. We got our frequent buyer club card and are ready to search for more of these restaurants around the Us. We met Tommy the... More

If you're a seafood lover, head to McCormick and Schmicks. I ate here with my husband and in-laws during our September weekend in Chicago. I love seafood, but as a tourist, I was hoping to try something more local. This is a chain of restaurants that we have back home in California. I did however, had a great experience at... More

We stayed at the Sofitel and ate here for lunch one day and dinner another. Lunch in the bar had the luck of getting the happy hour goodies. Wish they were available all the time! Fresh squeezed juices up the flavors of the cocktails. Dinner we had the chowders. Excellent! The funny of the dinner was they placed us in... More

We visited here for Happy Hour---drinks and appetizers. It was a great choice. They have a nice selection of beers and wines and a happy hour bar menu. We had the firecracker shrimp and artichoke dip. Both were excellent. We also couldn't resist the cinnamon ice cream. The 10-year old port was especially delicious! A great choice for an elegant... The short summary: we'll be back. The longer explanation: we've been coming to this branch of McCormick and Schmick's, off and on, for just over ten years, but through no fault of the restaurant, we hadn't been back for a couple of years....well, in the interim, it was bought out by Landry's. And the change shows in the menu. (I'd... More

Service was excellent. Had reservations. Got there early and seated right away. The seafood selection is immense. My daughter had the stuffed shrimp and I chose the 13 oz NY Strip. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp for appetizeers. The steak was merely average...tender and cooked perfectly...but it lacked any seasoning. I wondered when the server brought it why she... More

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighborhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
