The place was warm and comfortable. They had a fire place going in the back that gave it a great atmosphere. The food was very good. Order the Shrimp Bisque soup, very good and will warm you up from the Chicago Cold. I also had the crab cakes, excellent. The rest of my party enjoyed there food. One had the... More

We stopped in to get out of the cold and enjoy a glass of wine and cocktails. The bar area is beautiful with lovely views out onto the street. We had a high top at the window and it provide a wonderful spot to watch the activity on the street. The service was excellent as were our Old Fashioned cocktails!... More

I had a quick appetizer and a drink. Nice atmosphere to chill. My drink was very strong so I couldn't quite finish it. That's a great thing for me because I know I don't have to keep buying drinks all night.

Had an excellent burger here on Sunday night! I guess they got the Second best burger award for 2014 competition. Very tasty. Great bar, love the décor. Moscow Mules with the copper cups is a nice touch. The Scotch and Bourbon list is endless. What a wonderful place to sip a drink and eat great food!

I must have hit a bad night. Although the wait staff was good, it was extremely noisy in the restaurant. My party left after appetizers as there was a rowdy group of 8 a few tables away and even shouting we could not talk to each other. With a reservation, we still received a table right near the kitchen doorway... More

My daughter suggested this restaurant for brunch this weekend and it was great. It is located a few blocks north of the Water Tower. She had eaten there for dinner and loved it. I had cinnamon and pecan pancakes and hash browns. My wife had smocked salmon and bagels, etc. My daughter and her boyfriend shared a veggie omelette and... More

We went in without a reservation on a Sat night and were seated in 10 minutes, despite it being busy. I had the steak frite, which at $32 was a bargain considering it was a large piece of meat, cooked perfectly with the most flavorful au ju I have tasted in a while. My wife's meatloaf was in her opinion... More
