Best turkey burger in Chicago

I have been here over three dozen time and the food has always been good. The turkey burgers are the best with the chicken burger coming a close second but they also have good tasting ribs and bbq chicken. It is best to call your order in because everything is made fresh so it takes twenty minute... read more

I found this place by googling burger places. My husband loves a good hamburger and can not find one that has passed his test until....i brought him here for part of his birthday food weekend. I didn't tell him anything about it. We got there and he was excited. He ordered the double cheeses lovers with everything and said it's... More

I've eaten a lot of burgers in my day, however this place ranks up there with them all. Mom and pop operation making burgers the right way.

Lets start by saying this is the best hand made turkey burger I have ever had and the price I pay for a good size burger is what keeps me coming back! They make their burgers fresh from scratch everyday which I like since most turkey burgers a premade and frozen. Its ran by this cute old married couple and... More

Staying in South Shore

Neighborhood Profile
South Shore
Notable Chicagoans call the South Shore neighborhood their childhood home. Undoubtedly they spent time at Rainbow Beach, one of the city’s largest beaches. The park there offers one of the best views of Chicago’s skyline. This South Side neighborhood is best explored in the daytime. You’ll get an unfettered glimpse at a variety of architectural styles in both its residential homes and larger structures. Landmarks like the New Regal Theater built in the style of a Moorish theater and Saint Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church with its Tudor-revival influences are visually arresting. Take a short stroll through the landmark Jackson Park Highlands District for a taste of unique early 20th-century urban planning and large mansions. The South Shore Cultural Center is yet another unique structure and treasure in Chicago’s arts and culture community, complete with galleries, studios, a golf course, and a 600-seat theater.
