Went to this restaurant based on a suggestion from my boss...so glad I went. I ordered the Kuma burger--it comes with a fried egg and bacon, plus whatever normal burger toppings you want. It was a perfect size and cooked perfectly (ordered medium) for about $15. Fries were really good, lots of craft beer options, and service was great. It... More

Long lines, gotta get there an hour before they open. But the customizable macaroni and cheese is worth it alone! Seriously, best ever! Burgers are fantastic also!

Part of the appeal of Kuma's is that you have to wait. Step inside and grab a few of their many excellent craft beers and work up an appetite (you're going to need it). From the build your own Mac and cheese, the pulled pork fries, clams, to the juiciest burger on a pretzel bun that you've ever had, Kuma's... More

We were looking for a great burger and we found it! The meat was delicious. I have never seen so many options for a burger that were so unique and delicious. We had to try the mac & cheese because of other postings and we weren't disappointed we just had way more food than we could eat :) The root... More

I wanted to love this place...but I didn't. We were in town for a visit and Kuma's was recommended to us by a friend. I'm not a metal music lover, but that's not really what bothered me. First off, it was hot as HECK in the small corner restaurant. Like sweat beading on my face while looking over the menu,... More

I have been a fan of heavy metal music since I was a teenager and my love of burgers easily pre-dates that. When I found out that Chicago was home to a place that served burgers AND played heavy metal music, I thought I died and went "South of Heaven." Any metalhead will immediately feel right at home with the... More

I've been here 25 times at least. I've also been to all of the other top burger places in Chicago since I live here. Kuma's has the best tasting burgers AND THE BEST MAC N' CHEESE. That's it (better than DMK which is also great). If you want to argue atmosphere I get it. You're not into heavy metal. Well... More

The Burgers are have names THE IRON MAIDEN, LED ZEPPLIN, METALLICA, ABSU and the like. The staff have Metal shirts, colored hair, tats. The decor is similarly "Goth". Sure it's a gimmick, but the BURGERS are very good, fresh, not frozen, and DELICIOUS. It's great bar, with outstanding meaty burgers, and an atmosphere. It's easy to see why this is... More

Kuma's has been a Chicago Burger staple for years. If you want a burger in the city this is the place to go! Although it is often very very crowded it is worth the wait. If you are not inclined to waiting the best times to go would be right when they open for Lunch or before the dinner rush;... More

If you are vegan you will not want to eat at Kumas Corner. This is a meat-lovers paradise. The burgers are among the best we have had anywhere. But that is only part of the story. The goth, tatoo-laden, biker-bar atmosphere is a spectacle in itself. Take in all of the sights and sounds but don't judge a book by... More
