I have been a fan of heavy metal music since I was a teenager and my love of burgers easily pre-dates that. When I found out that Chicago was home to a place that served burgers AND played heavy metal music, I thought I died and went "South of Heaven." Any metalhead will immediately feel right at home with the... More

I've been here 25 times at least. I've also been to all of the other top burger places in Chicago since I live here. Kuma's has the best tasting burgers AND THE BEST MAC N' CHEESE. That's it (better than DMK which is also great). If you want to argue atmosphere I get it. You're not into heavy metal. Well... More

The Burgers are have names THE IRON MAIDEN, LED ZEPPLIN, METALLICA, ABSU and the like. The staff have Metal shirts, colored hair, tats. The decor is similarly "Goth". Sure it's a gimmick, but the BURGERS are very good, fresh, not frozen, and DELICIOUS. It's great bar, with outstanding meaty burgers, and an atmosphere. It's easy to see why this is... More

Kuma's has been a Chicago Burger staple for years. If you want a burger in the city this is the place to go! Although it is often very very crowded it is worth the wait. If you are not inclined to waiting the best times to go would be right when they open for Lunch or before the dinner rush;... More

If you are vegan you will not want to eat at Kumas Corner. This is a meat-lovers paradise. The burgers are among the best we have had anywhere. But that is only part of the story. The goth, tatoo-laden, biker-bar atmosphere is a spectacle in itself. Take in all of the sights and sounds but don't judge a book by... More

Quite a place! Loud metal music and hot chicks serving up brew and burgers. I had the Metallica and it was good. Cooked just the way I ordered. All the food looked good and I hear that the mac and cheese is to die for. Fun place and fun people. I would recommend but not sure if I would wait... More

Love Kuma's. The burgers are great put I always get the Pig Destroyer (shredded pork sandwich). Fries are awesome. Love eating on their patio when the weather in nice.

Very disappointed. Not only did the fries taste like they were thrown in oil twice and resalted, but the wait was not worth the food. AT ALL. An hour wait and I ended up losing my appetite after the food disgusted me. My burger was still cold, and I didn't recieve the side I asked for. Service is better at... More

Had Mac and cheese and my friend had a huge burger. It was on a huge roll with bacon! My Mac and cheese had various choices so I had chicken in mine. Outstanding! We sat outside but they had inside seating too. It's a cool place right on the corner and we even found parking right on the street.

This is my favorite burger place in the world. Go there and expect a line. There is heavy metal music, it is a cozy place. But worth the wait for the gourmet burgers and mac & cheese. These are special burgers like the Plague Bringer burger, yum. Roasted Garlic Mayo, Crushed Garlic, House-made Hot Sauce, Pepperjack, Jalapenos, Tortilla Strips. or... More
