Fun evening

We had a private party upstairs (book well in advance). Deep dish and thin crust pizzas done to perfection. We had 50 people and they handled the crowd professionally. When you arrive, you will see a long line waiting to get in. Once you taste the pizza, you will see why.

The pizza was so great and had everything you could look for in a deep dish pizza! The atmosphere is great for all ages and you get to sign your name anywhere around the store! The restraint is very famous so you might need reservations to avoid a long wait! We all love Gino's and can't wait to return!

I found this to be a nice area, but a bit overrated. The food was good but it took over an hour to prepare a deep dish pizza. Yes, it was VERY crowded, so we wanted to try and see what the excitement was about. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful so that was a major plus. I am... More

We are not from Chicago and I really wanted some Chicago style deep dish pizza during our visit, and this was a perfect place to get some! The service was great (our server was Daniel) and the food was excellent. We had a small meat lovers deep dish pizza, and soft pretzels while we waited for the pizza. Be advised,... More

This is 1 of the 3 places that the locals tell you to go. The positives - they brew their own beer and have some interesting choices. Wine list decent. Lots of screens if you want to watch a game. The negatives - it is deep dish pizza so it will take at least 45 minutes for your pizza -... More

We ordered ahead of time (always takes 45 minutes for a deep dish) and took back to the hotel, great option. There is a Walgreen's around the corner to grab some beer also. Great Pizza, the Chicago way!

We went on a busy Saturday evening, there was a line outside, but only had to wait about 20 minutes. Once inside, we were shown to our table. Out Waiter - David - was not at all friendly, quite surly in his manner, and reeled off the list of drinks so quickly, we couldn't understand what he said, quite put... More

We stopped here for lunch during our visit to downtown Chicago for vacation. We loved the cheesy deep dish sausage pizza! We got a large and it fed 4 adults and 2 kids. The flavor was so satisfying with great Italian spices, chewy cheese, buttery crust flavorful sausage! Be prepared to wait a good 45 minutes for your pizza because... More

A few colleagues recommended this place as one of their top deep dishes in the city. I have tried a few others so I decided to give this one a try too. I ordered a medium supreme deep dish pizza. The wait time was the expected 40-45 minutes. What was unique about this pizza was the cornbread crust, which I... More

For those who know what Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is they will know this place. Excellent ingredients and prepared to perfection. Don't have to say much about this place besides if you like deep dish you need to go here.

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
