Pizza was very good but I think they are overpriced. Would I do again, yep but not my first stop. Service was ok but slow. Very busy at night time so expect a long wait to get in

My wife the pizza fanatic was searching for the ultimate Pizza experience. After researching we went to Ginos.Very nice resteraunt spacious and clean. The service from our waitress was excellent. The appetizer of nachos was a meal in itself for us and were very good.As for the pizza we were very disappointed with it overall, the dough was undercooked and the filling very runny... Just off Michigan ave so very handy for our hotel. Cool graffiti everywhere and you can add your own too! Good pizza pie, friendly staff. The queue wasn't as bad as it looked to get a table as the restaurant is so big. Not the best for pizza pie, but it's up there! Apertizers are MASSIVE so order to share!

Hadn't been here for many a moon. Of course you can't go wrong with Chicago-style deep dish pizza, but Gino's East does not, IMO, stack up to other deep dish pizza on two key points. 1. The sauce. It tastes too sweet. 2. The crust. Too soggy and bloated. Think I'll stick with Giardano's and Lou Malnati's.

It was a little overwhelming as we were there at a busy time on Saturday with our grandchildren. Maybe not the best time and place for them. A large meaty pizza was ordered for the family and I ordered a Spinach Calzone. Everything is cooked after you order so relax and look around. Everything arrive hot from the oven. The... More

This is the place to go for deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza. And if you like the crust thinner or want pasta, they have that too. The place is busy and a deep-dish takes 45+ minutes to bake. So don't expect a quick meal. It's a great place to have a few beers and watch a game while you wait for the... More

The pizza here was so good...definitely worth the wait-which is the only bad part-it does take about 45-1 hour once you order for your pizza to be ready...but it comes out nice and hot and you can taste the freshness in it. The place is cool too-famous people on the wall and lots of fun graffiti.

The only negative here is that it takes a lot of time to get there famous deep dish pizza. The first night I went there I didn't have the 45 min to one hour to wait so I got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was good and about average. A couple nights latter I had more time and waited to... More

If it's your first time in Chicago and have never tasted deep-dish, this is a must-visit because it's the original. If you've experienced this, don't come back a second time because there are better pizza joints in the city. The wait is long because all the tourists flood here, but quite honestly, the deep dish pizza is not tasty in... More
