Went here for the soup on a rainy day. The place does get packed but we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated we were offered drinks. It didn't take long to get our appetizers. We ordered shrimp and pork fried egg rolls. They're on the small side but really tasty. We also ordered shrimp... More

Love, love, love this place. They serve the best authentic vietnamese food in all of Chicago. Order #50, it's the best Pho you will ever taste! The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is casual. There's always a line up here and parking can be a challenge BUT come on a Sunday afternoon when... More

Best Pho in Chicago? Definitely. Best Pho in the Universe? Could be. I have yet to have better Pho or Vietnamese food in general. Any challengers to Tank? -Ben Edlavitch

We wanted Pho and went to the area and noticed that Tank Noodle had a wait and other places were half empty. There was a reason. The food was delicious and plentiful. And the Boba drinks were very good too.

Busy, really inexpensive with good food. The Bowls of Pho could feed 4 people, and the pork bahn mi was very tasty. BYOB.

This place is bit of a trek from the tourist area but worth the ride. One block from the Argyle station. We had the shrimp congee, egg rolls and a pork banh mi. Family run, very friendly service. Prices very reasonable. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Did not see a liquor store near by.

Delicious! Don't let the basic look of the place deter you.We had spring rolls and the Pho and they were all delicious. Also the iced coffee is super delicious, not too sweet but just sweet enough. The food was fresh and yummy. The neighborhood we probably wouldn't give found without some help, but we are glad we stopped here!

I live in the burbs where there really aren't any options for quality pho. Tank Noodle is well worth the drive. The pho is fantastic, so aromatic and delicious. And the portions are very generous, we typically eat half and take the other half home for the next day. Half a portion is about a normal bowls worth at home.... More

We had a late lunch at Tank Noodle recently and enjoyed our second visit there as much as the first one a few years back. We both had the chicken rice noodle soup; one with shrimp and BBQ pork, and the other with chicken. The food was flavorful and plentiful. Neither of us could finish our serving. In addition to... Yes, during mealtimes they're crowded and busy, but that's a good sign. (It means people, regulars and others, are willing to wait for their food.) They have so many food options (appetizers, pho, soups, banh mi, noodle dishes, rice dishes, seafood), you could order something different every time you go, or stick to a few favorites. They have a variety... More
