Not bad breakfast food

Stopped in for breakfast after a visit to local TV show Windy City Live. Almost walked by it, the restaurant is rather small. The decor was comfortable and the atmosphere was moderately energetic. I was seated right away. I ordered the chorizo and avocado omelette. It was good, but the chorizo... read more

I decided to get up early to beat the crowd at the Bongo Room. It was well worth it . I had an omelet that was excellent. The service was outstanding even thought they were turning the table. On the weekend I would highly recommend to get there prior to 10am to avoid the long waits

This is no ordinary breakfast place. Gourmet! The things they can do with eggs and pancakes are phenomenal !!! The waits can be long, esp on the weekends, usually out the door in the warmer months. I have NEVER had a terrible dish here. The menu changes with the seasons. if you are a foodie, this is the place for... More

So, I'm an eggs benedict junkie, and the deconstructed lobster roll eggs benedict was amazing! I'm Jewish, so this wasn't even a kosher meal but I didn't care. It was phenomenal; I finished it off in under 5 minutes it was so good. Because I was eating alone the day I went to the Bongo Room, the wait was only... More

Very simple place decor wise and just ordinary atmosphere. I ordered the BLT Benedict and it was fresh and very good. Had a few bites of my wife's White Chocolate and Caramel Pretzel Pancakes and those were delicious. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back.

A nice bright place to have breakfast. Fantastic portions, my friend had the tomato and avocado egg dish - I had food jealousy. They need a kids menu, though. Desperately. The portions are colossal.

This is one of best places for breakfast places in Chicago! Always a favorite and must visit! A tip if you are like me and don't want just pancakes for breakfast....you can order a single, double or the regular order of any pancakes. This allows you to mix and match and try multiple things! Yummy!

Prices were low. Tables were tightly squeezed together and the high exposed ceilings made it difficult to have conversation in all the noise. The food attempted to be unique but missed on quality. I suggest Yolk or Wildberry Pancakes before this place for breakfast.

They told us the wait would be 20 mins, but it was most definitely shorter than that. Our waiter was very friendly and quick! I ordered the white chocolate caramel pretzel hotcakes, which are good much a little too much sugar first thing. The portions are monsterous. I tried my husband'a potatoes and had to immediately order some for myself.... More
