Our favorite breakfast place

Very crowded, but worth the wait. I got the lobster eggs Benedict which were delicious! I am a New England native, and this lobster was sweet and tender. Well worth the price. I devoured every bite. This is my second time here. I have never seen anyone with an empty plate. The portions are big so be warned. The pancakes are a must. Warning: they are super busy in AM so there may be a wait (but with it). Also it can be very noisy when full (thus four stars) so you will have to raise... More

Lovely food. Great service. It's usually packed, but we managed to get a seat. We always enjoy the service and food.

Great place to get breakfast before hitting up the museums. We got the strawberry banana pancakes and the breakfast burrito. Both were phonomenal. There was much more we wished we could have tried as well!

What the Bongo lacks in atmosphere it makes up for with exceptional food. The French toast is as good as it gets. We also greatly enjoyed our vegetarian Croissant with an egg, the Crossiant Sandwich and Omlette. If you prefer coke products, your meal is complete. The service was good. The restrooms could have been cleaner.

We flew out to Chicago for a quick day trip, and found this waiting for the CTA by Roosevelt. Hidden little gem! Although its crowded inside the people we sat by were fun to talk to and meet. It was a little confusing who was working and who wasn't because staff is very causal and did not have anything on... More

Possibly the best pancake my face ever had the pleasure of having smeared all over it. Pretzel, white chocolate, & caramel drizzle. I ordered just one cake (who can eat the 3 the order normally comes with). The fruit plate was fine, nothing exciting or delicious, just meh. It was a Tues morning, so seating was easy, it was quiet,... More

We met up with a friend here for brunch. We tried the chocolate tower french toast and it was AMAZING. Would definitely return to try other options on the menu!

It's been several years since I last ate at Bongo Room, and it didn't disappoint. The portions are crazy and the omelets and french toast are amazing.

You can't get much more decadent in the morning than red velvet pancakes--wow!! The vanilla cream sauce put them over the top. Wonderful take on a breakfast burrito packed with fresh flavor. The pear pancakes with fresh whipped cream were also a hit. They are very accommodating for kids' tastes as well with regular or chocolate chip pancakes. Close proximity... More
