After our tour of the Chicago Theater we needed lunch and this place was right across State Street. The menu included soups and all kinds of interesting sandwiches. The stand in line and serve yourself was very efficient and quick. Yummy.

I travel through Midway fairway often for work and this is usually my lunch stop. It is located right before the B terminal for Southwest. Don't let the line out the door scare you. I often start in the line in the hallway. There is usually a worker taking orders on an Ipad and by the time you make it... More

We went to Chicago for the Bears game, took the train into the city early to walk around and see the sites. We asked around for a sandwich place and everyone said Potbelly's. The food was good, but I did not ask for Jalepenos on my sandwich..lol All of the employees were really nice at explaining how the ordering and... More

Potbelly's started in Chicago - the original is on Lincoln Ave! This is a great sandwich shop with many options and toppings available as well as several healthy options. Much better than Subway! Baked and regular chips are available, but the best part are the fresh cookies baked daily! Worth taking an extra walk around the downtown area just to... More

We were walking and shopping on State street and stopped here for a quick bite for lunch. As this was our first time in Potbelly, the young woman at the the cashier was very kind and patient in explaining the menue and eventually gave us great tips on what to choose. They also have great diet/lite options.

Stopped in a for a late lunch after taking a downtown CAF tour. Good sandwiches freshly made and the tomato soup was not bad either. I would go back for a fast lunch any time. Muuuuuuch better than Subway and without that weird Subway smell.

We passed this spot on the way to our hotel & went back for lunch early afternoon. My husband said his chicken & cheese flatbread was a little bland. I got the uptown salad & I was delighted. Very tasty and a good sized portion.

Potbelly's is a better version of Subway! Great quality meats and cheese! Fab bread! We loved it! If you time it right they also have a musician playing guitar/piano & singing. Great chilled out place even though it's always busy. Please come over to England!!!!!!

When hanging out at Midway, it's not a bad idea to grab a Potbelly sandwich. Toasted and with quality meats and cheeses, the subs are solid. However, go light on the toppings...or by the time you sit down to enjoy your sandwich, it'll be soggy and runny. A great virtue is their speed, which comes in handy when facing a... More
