We saw it on DDD. And said that we had to eat here. It was a bit if a hassle getting there. Took the Metra out and the L back. But, the food. .... was awesome!

Saw this restaurant on Diners Drive Ins and Dives and vowed to try next time in Chicago. Did not expect the rustic decor and small dining area but the smell drew me in. They have an interesting system where you have to order then be seated, then wait for your number to get your meal. The seating was too close... More

Being from SC I was skeptical how well I'd like it, but it was excellent! Not the least bit dissappointed. Most tender brisket I've had in my life. Could hardly pick it up without it falling apart! The babyback ribs were good, but the Memphis Ribs (I think that's what they were called) were most excellent!!! the peach cobbler was... More

We had a tase platter with Chicken, Brisket, Ribs and pulled pork. Everything was amazing and very filling. Also we got there at like 4:00pm on a friday and just after we entered the line was around the corner. The food was amazing and the service is pretty fast to.

The BBQ is good but this is not a sit down place with a server or anything like that. Their sauce is pretty good. Lillie's q is a better choice

The wood smoked aroma hits you a half block away. Good. The pulled pork, brisket and chicken are cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, smokey. The sweet sauce that comes with wasn't real good. Next time I'll request the hot. The beams, slaw and fries were pretty good, but the real stars this visit are the brisket and the PP. Next visit,... More

We came here for dinner and found the experience underwhelming. We had the St Louis ribs with sides of BBQ beans and brisket chilli. The meat was fatty and a bit tough. I guess that is just what the St Louis cut is like. I did like the BBQ dipping sauce and BBQ beans. The brisket chilli was meh. We... More

Most of the time I pick the food up to take home for parties. Without a doubt the best Beef Brisquet with the tastiest BBQ sauce I've ever tasted. When I want to impress my guests I pick-up 5 lbs of Briquet with BBQ sauce sides of Mac and Cheese and Cole Slaw with Cornbread and Peach Cobbler for Desert... More
