Amazing BBQ

Has to be best BBQ I've ever tasted. Long drive, difficult parking, and long lines. But totally worth it all. The brisket, Texas sausage, and half rack St Louis ribs were awesome. Tender, great flavor, and sauces that complimented the smoky flavor. Portiobs are filling as well. Will make a... read more

When we were in Chicago we hear of this place via Diners Driveins and Dives TV show so we went via a cab ride from the Navy Pier and when we got there . there was a line around the corner and one of the people in front of us in line was a head chef for 4 of the... More

I always get the chopped brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans and cobbler. My husband gets the baby back ribs and chili. This time the cobbler tasted so good we ate two there and got two to go. Its amazing!

After reading the reviews and looking at the rating of this place I decided to try it while I was in town visiting family. I got the sliced brisket and fries. The meat was not dry which was good. The only thing that surprised me was that there was really no flavor to it which was surprising since I know... More

Smoque is one of the best bbq places in Chicago. Every time I have been there the food has been fantastic. The brisket and ribs were fantastics as well as the mac n cheese. Usually I try to make a visit when I am in town.

I used to live near Smoque and ate here all the time. It's been 4 years since that, and every return trip has made me smile just the same! We are stuck on our faves - chopped brisket with extra sauce on the side. Sometimes I get a "taste" of ribs - they are really great - fall right off... More

We ate here on our first night in Chicago. We had the pulled pork sandwich, baby-back ribs, St. Louis ribs, Mac-n-cheese, baked beans, and fries. It was all good, but we had to come back before we left Chicago and get more of the bab-back ribs!

Well, I hail from the south side of Chicago, and I grew up with BBQ a-plenty. Let's just say I know my BBQ, and, apparently, so does Smoque. My tastebuds, no heck, my entire body was ecstatic over the brisket. Couldn't get enough. Everyone in my party, hailing from 3 different continents were unanimous in the mouth-smacking praise for this... More
