Incredible Pulled Pork & Brisket

Melt in your mouth and flavorful! My boyfriend is from Chicago and he recommended this restaurant. Very delicious and priced right. I met one of the owners and gave him a dollar from the Cayman Islands. Please open a chain of these restaurants.

If you can get in without lining up around the block don't worry you can smell the brisket smoking through the entire block around Smoque. The owners left their jobs to open this place and everything from the sides, to the service is spectacular. Try a little of everything and watch the system in the open kitchen, everything here is... I have been here 5 times since August. And I have not had one thing that hasn't been spectacular. The brisket chili is so delicious we always order some to go. Ribs fall off the bone. Mac n cheese is delicious and the peach cobbler is on point!!! Best part it's byb! def worth the wait in line in the... More

The best bbq that I've had in a very long time. If you can make it do it! Try the bread pudding best I've ever had. Don't miss out.

First, the food: I had the ribs, and they were actually quite tough, perhaps overcooked. the sauce was a bit strong. The mac and cheese was tiny and didn't have much taste. The food wasn't bad, just average. Second, the atmosphere: it's awful. The place is overcrowded, and that's fine if you're doing takeout, but if you're eating there, they... More

If I could rate this place higher than a 5 I would!! We tried some chicken, some brisket, some Texas link, some ribs, and some ribs....you just can't go wrong here!!! For sides we tried the beans, the chili, the mac n cheese, and the slaw...if I HAD to give a less than perfect score, I would say the beans... More

We decided to take the 1 hour round trip trek to Smoque based on the fantastic reviews that we've seen on Trip Advisor and many other outlets! We were NOT disappointed! There were three of us, so we got to sample the St Louis ribs, brisket, cole slaw, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and peach cobbler. Everything was excellent!! The... More

Oh, how I love Smoque! Went with 2 friends who "initiated" me. I had pulled pork and brisket - and both were BBQ heaven. (To clarify the selections below, I wouldn't say there's actual wait staff, but people do come around to help clean up and such.)

Brisket had too much fat and without the sauce not much taste at all. My wife had the half chicken which was delicious. Excepting the baked beans, the sides also did not have much taste. The chile was too watery and the cole slaw had a sour taste. The ambiance and the frantic wait are just not my cup of... More
