The food here is great! I have had the chopped brisket sandwich, the pulled pork sandwich, and, of course, the baby back ribs. All of the meat is super tender. I had the ribs to-go, but they still had the smokey smell when opening the box! The BBQ beans, fries, and cornbread are all really good too. The cornbread has... More

We got here at 5pm, and were lucky because the place was packed shortly after we ordered. The BBQ is fantastic. I'd highly recommend the pulled pork, brisket and macaroni and cheese. You won't regret it!

This is the place where we bring our Swedish visitors to taste real American BBQ. (And, of course, when we get the craving, we're there!) There's always a long line, they've been crowded for years. I think the best bet is to call ahead, place your order, and take it to go (you will still have to do some waiting,... More

I saw this restaurant on DDD and I really wanted to try the brisket. The wait was a bit long. It took about 45 minutes to place my order then another 30 minutes to get my food to go. The food smelled amazing and it was worth the wait. I would recommend this place to my friends.

I saw this place on television and sent my Chicago friends out to try it. They loved it!! I couldn't wait to get to the City to try it for myself. I was not disappointed! You know when you walk in that the food is good because the line is always long lol! I had ribs, mac n cheese hot... More

Who knew that such good BBQ would be found not in Memphis, nor KC, nor Dallas - but Chicago of all places. This little neighborhood restaurant on the North Side of Chicago serves up some of the best BBQ you'll ever find. The hallmark of good BBQ is how well it stands on its own without sauce. If you had... More

I had dinner here with a friend and it was outstanding. We both had the ribs and the meat melted in your mouth.

we waited about 30 minutes just to place our order but it turned out to be well worth the wait. Tried several items. The baby back ribs were tender and had a great bark, the chopped brisket turned out to be the star of the show and the pulled pork was perfect. As far as sides go the cole slaw... More

Stopped at Smoque on the way to the airport. It is halfway between downtown and o'hare. Brought our bags in. Then feasted on the best ribs I have ever had. I don't like it when they are smothered in sauce. These has a phenomenal crust. Brisket was outrageous. Loads of sides. We feasted like kings.
