You need to try it .Wow ! This is the place to go ..mind you have to order first and they seat you at shared tables --a little confusing at first but we had a local fan with us. We all had something different Bbq chicken was delicious and the sliced brisket was great..some had pulled pork and... read more

Go early, they will run out of the peach cobbler. Everything is excellent, you cannot find anything that is not tasty. I go everytime I am in Chicago. Have never been disappointed. Been 10 times, if I lived local would go weekly or more.

Everything we tried we tried, we loved. We got the pulled pork, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, french fries, and peach cobbler. My favorite was the baked beans, the meat and flavor was out of this world. The only complaint we have is that their parking situation sucks.

If you are sensitive to too much charcoal on the ribs crust, avoid eating here. While the food tasted great, the after effects were hard on the body. I was dehydrated for the day and other physical issues. I'm a Q hunter and travel distances to get high quality competition grade Q and have been to most of the 100... More

Ok, so most folks traveling to Chicago make the mistake of only staying downtown. I love the downtown vibe, but if you only stay downtown you miss out on other parts of city such as Wicker Park or Lincoln Park. If you haven't visited.. please do. I'll have to travel further SOUTH of downtown next time I'm in Chi-Town, but... More

I was in Chicago for a conference and saw this place on the Food Network in my hotel room. The following day, I tried it out for lunch. It was very good. The pulled pork was delicious. However, the best part of the meal was the baked beans. I am not usually a big fan of them, but I would... More

Ribs are great too. Go here all the time. They don't have greens. No alcohol. No table service. Smoked chicken is delicious. St. Louis ribs are delicious Normally a little wait, 5-10 minutes....but not long. Great for lunch, pick up. Cornbread is great too

The atmosphere is not a place you would want to hang around in. The problem is by the time you make a few block hike to wherever your staying the food starts to cool off. The bbq was fine, and if you don't want go downtown it does the trick.

Line even at 5PM on Sunday. Staff works hard to keep this all running, keep the food coming and keep the seats turning over (including seating everyone by list rather than you competing with seat savers after the food line). Don't miss the peach cobbler or bread pudding for just $2.95 more.
