Description: Located in Wicker Park, Sultan's Market offers a variety of fresh Middle Eastern cuisine. Since 1995, we've been cooking up Chicago's best falafel. If it's not our falafel, it's freakin' awful.

Quaint restaurant with helpful, pleasant employees. They were fast, polite, and efficient. The salad bar is extensive, and for 5.99/lb, it's a steal! Huge portions on all food, and the pricing was more than fair. I stumbled across this place by accident, but I guarantee I'll be returning on purpose. Cheers.

Well I hope you've made it back to see us since September! Thanks for all the kind words. I'm glad you were so happy to see that our prices don't mean the food is anything less than amazing -- we're big believers that five-star food doesn't have to empty your pockets. Can't wait to see you again soon! All the... More

Sultan's is an unbelievable value. For $3.95 I got one of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever had. In a fresh pita, it was spread with hummus, stuffed with crispy creamy tasty falafels, and topped with a tomato, cucumber, tahini salad. My daughter got the lamb sandwich for $5.95. Also Amazing! We also tried quite a few of the little... More

$5 footlongs are overrated, isn't that right, Emily? So, so excited to know how much you loved your experience here. We really try to offer the best value and best taste, so your words really mean a lot to us. I'm looking forward to welcoming you back soon! Take care, Habibi's, Shadi More

A chicken or lamb shwerma meal is $7. With a drink and tax you will pay $10 to eat here. It is the best restaurant of it's type.

Very good, and reasonable Middle-Eastern food. They have an all you can eat buffet as well. Food is made fresh daily on site. And you can't beat the prices.

Never heard of this place until I went on a Wicker Park walking and food tour. It was my favorite of the tour. The story goes that when the original owner was going to the University of Illinois at Chicago, she would share her hummus and home-made food to her classmates. They were the ones who kept insisting to her... More

This is my brother's favorite place for falafel and he is an expert ;) Mom followed his lead but with veggies added which made it a little moister which I liked rather than having to add sauce. I opted for the salad/entree bar and was a very happy camper. The selection is extensive and healthy and I love indulging in... More

My sister lives in Chicago, and each time I visit I ask her if we can go! I don't bother with the salad bar, we always order entrees from the hot bar. Hummus & falafel are my favorites, but the other items I've tried have been quite good as well. They will get you on drinks - only canned or... More

This hole in the wall middle-eastern restaurant in Bucktown serves up large portions of homemade middle eastern fare - hummus, baba ganoush, pitas, kebabs, sharma, and honey-coated desserts, along with an extensive salad bar. My wife and I each ordered a dinner plate and an appetizer, and had plenty to take away for the next day's breakfast. Not the absolute... More

We tried this spot after reading positive reviews. It certainly satisfies the claim of being a budget eatery -- the prices are indeed excellent and the portions generous. If only the main dishes measured up.... There is a large salad bar of sorts where you can buy food by the pound. We elected to order hot meals at the counter,... More
