Yolks on MIchigan ave.

This restaurant was given to me by a waitress in another eatery who said I must go there!! I was at the Michigan ave one but the Wells is the same apparently. It is the best breakfast I have ever had when traveling, staff were so great on advising me etc and remembered me the next day and my... read more

This place came with a great review so I had high expectations. My eggs were good but the service terrible for a week day. For great coffee refills I had to repeatedly get up and ask! Too many other places to experience, I'd skip it next visit to Lincoln Park.

We spent the weekend in the city and ate at Yolk this morning. I had the California omelette with sourdough toast. It was good, but we had to stand in line for 20 minutes to pay for breakfast. Their process at the register is very inefficient and frustrating. They have a loyal following, and we met a lovely couple from... More

Our first day in Chicago the hotel recommended Yolk. We were seated right away. We both tried the pumpkin swirl French toast. The first few bites were amazing but after that I found it to sweet. However we are going to go back and try something else nice to have some different things on the menu. Good service fast food... More

Yolk specialises in massive breakfast menus. Wildly popular, huge menu and portions. Fast and friendly service, good food. A little expensive but well worth a visit (or three, in my case). Open for lunch too.

If you're one of those people who goes to brunch places and can never decide what to order, Yolk probably isn't for you. Eggs any way you can possibly think of, pancakes, french toast, waffles, the list goes on. You will definitely have a hard time deciding, like I did. I finally settled on the Irish Benny - toasted english... More

I hit the jackpot with my citrus salad which was enormous, wonderfully presented and very tasty. As I am a small eater I had to ask for a doggy bag, but even my husband & daughter who have very healthy appetites could not finish their lunch. Good value for money here!

Went here for breakfast with a colleague. The place was very busy and every dish that passed me looked fantastic...which made it hard to decide what to order. I settled on a nice hot coffee, and a Denver omelet along with a giant, soft, fluffy pancake. It was perfection. I wish I could have eaten every bite, but the omelet... More

Ate breakfast here - had eggs Benedict with potatoes and fruit. Overall, it was pretty good. The service was friendly and efficient. It's located across the street from Grant Park and is a favorite for Chicago Bears fans. It was really busy on a game day, so I ate somewhere else and came back a day later. The AC may... More

5 egg omelets are great - not as huge as expected. I had the Greek omelet. Hubby had eggs and corned beef hash. Brother had iron man 5 egg omelet. All came with choice of toast, english muffin or pancakes and potatoes or fruit. Delicious.
