In Chicago for three days, every morning started with a YOLK breakfast! I loved the breakfast wrap with great salsa!
Went here for a late breakfast during a trip to Chicago. The portions are fairly generous, which was great, and everything tasted good. But it certainly wasn't anything truly special. I had an omelette and my friend had eggs benedict. They both came with potatoes, and mine came with pancakes. Neither of us were impressed with the potatoes - they... More
Have been in Chicago for 5 days and visited the Yolk Restaurant at E.Ohio St. Streeterville twice and have to say the menu was extensive and inviting, I settled on the 2+2+2 Combo 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 French toast the 1st visit, and the South of the Border Benny the 2nd visit, complete with Iced Water, unlimited Coffee.... Greeted and seated within seconds, instantly got ice cool water and a cup of coffee (including timely refills), ordered Eggs Benedict and a large orange juice - just a perfect start in Downtown Chicago.
This was my first time at Yolk and I figured that as with most other breakfast cafes / restaurants I had been to, regular portions would be served and, so, I ordered the five-egg omelette, a side of French toast and a side of sausages. (You read that right . . . five-egg omelette). The waitress was very courteous and... More
Not only did it taste great, but it was healthy too! Perfect for brunch! Staff is great and the restaurant is very inviting. Loved it and will definitely go again!
Yolk is an expanding Chicago chain that I wish would come to NY. The food is always consistingly good and portions are large. Great breakfast or lunch stop.

We had breakfast for lunch and loved every bite, although there was so much food we couldn't eat it all. The fruit was sweet &... More

Went here for Sunday morning brunch. The place was PACKED with people showing up every second, but they moved them in and out with expertise and no one was rushed. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Food was decent, but there was a lot of it! Home fries were really good.
