Amazing breakfast - if you can get a table

The first time we visited we couldn't get a table because the place was far too busy! We went back the next day and managed to grab a table for 4. I had a skillet and it was great. A lot of food for the money. The staff were super attentive and friendly. One of the best places I ate... read more

Ate here for brunch and it was excellent as usual. We did not have to wait for a table (around noon on a Friday), and the service was perfect, attentive, but not overbearing. My date and i split the red velvet cake french toast, because - we had to! It was a sugar bomb, but definitely something to try once.... More

Great breakfast/brunch locale--this is my go to favorite when I don't want to eat at home. Extensive menu with traditional, creative and healthy choices. Kids menu is great as well. Large portion sizes, friendly service and wait times are not excessive, even when busy.

We arrived early in the morning and were seated at the bar. I was pick-pocketed and when I told the staff they looked at the tape and said they did not see anything. The thief got everything and because we we sitting at the bar close to the register with a lot of traffic behind us we did not feel... More

We arrived later in the morning (around 11) on a week day so there were not a lot of people there besides us. The service was good from our waitress but the cashier seemed very young, inexperienced, and distracted. The portions were very large and the food was good (not great). I think my juice was fresh squeezed - being... More

This is the second time my family and I visited this restaurant. The first visit ranked near a 5, but the second visit just barely ranked a 4. Service was good both visits. Flavor of the food was the most significant change. We really looked forward to a return visit after the first visit, but the second visit was a... More

Our family enjoyed breakfast here while visiting Chicago. It was crowded (Sunday) but the service was still good and the food came out fast. Lots of typical breakfast choices and some unique ones. I had BACON WAFFLES. Bacon pieces mixed in the batter! I highly recommend them! Prices were average and food was good, so its worth a stop if... More

We've tried omelets in a number of places, including out of the country, and these continue to be among the best. There is no skimping on the ingredients, service is surprisingly fast, and many of the omelets include pancakes. The Streeterville location is always jammed. The Yolk website gives Ohio St. address, but the location is at Grand and McClurg.... More

I love breakfast, so my husband and I started my birthday at Yolk, and I couldn’t have been happier. Perhaps because of the frigid temperatures, and that it was mid-week, the restaurant was nice and quiet. The menu offers just about every breakfast item you can think of. I had an omelet, and the ingredient options were extensive. My husband... More
