Another great Chicago restaurant. Friendly staff, delicious and fresh foods. Breakfasts with fresh ingredients, designer breads, drinks are so good. Lunches are equally great, try the salmon salad. A very busy establishment with good reason.

Great for breakfast if you don't want to venture. Good omelets, generous portions. You have health conscious options. Crowded, noisy and there can be long waiting lines. Enjoyable food experience. Not nearly as good as Windy City a little north of there which serves the best breakfast we've have ever had in Chicago.

Went here for breakfast with my wife and daughter on a Saturday morning. The wait was around 15 minutes, and we were able to wait outside, do to the PA system that calls your name when your table is ready. Very good omelets and French toast. The wait staff had too many tables to contend with, so I felt we... More

The atmosphere was terrific and the ratings so good that we were expecting a terrific breakfast. I was there with my 11 yo daughter and we both had really bad meals. She ordered the cinnamon french toast and initially it was not done enough. We sent it back and then it returned with a burnt flavor. The bacon arrived burnt... More

Large, open seating plan. large and amazingly creative menu. Wait staff was perfect. We had omelettes, pancakes, hash browns, potato pancakes and all were delicious and perfectly executed. What made our breakfast extraordinary was a dish they call the "tour de france". It is a combination plate of lemon poppy seed bread, orange bread, and banana bread that are french... More

Yolk has the best breakfast in the city. Service is great and prices are reasonable. Our table ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, red velvet french toast, crepes and the big breakfast. Portions were huge but all of our plates were empty because we couldn't stop eating. But go early, by 9:30 it's packed.

I don't even know where to start to praise this place. It was a sunday morning which means every place that offers breakfast will be packed. And Yolk was no different... Or actually it was! We got accomodated pretty quickly (about 10 minute wait) and we were lucky to get a big table. The menu offers so many options that... More

Yolk was nothing spectacular. If you want to nurse a hangover, good place to go. If you want to enjoy quality, fresh food - not the place to go. Pros: There was a bunch of people waiting outside of Yolk and the wait was 40 minutes. We were seated in 30 minutes. Cinnamon Bun French Toast: Good. Cons: Black drip... More

We had one of the best breakfasts EVER! There was so much food, but all of us ate every last bit. Great staff and our meals arrived quickly, even though there were lots of people in the restaurant.

Great breakfast place. Service is crisp and efficient, menu extensive and the place operates with a continuous hum. Spinach omelette with several add- ons was hard to finish because of its size. Only regret is not getting back for a second meal!
