Rode the divvy commuter bikes here w 4 friends. Everyone one of us didn't like our food. The pesto had too much garlic, the chicken & waffles was made w tenders & the eggs Benedict Canadian bacon was way too thick

Great traditional breakfast diner. Liked very much the side of "fruit" was actually fruit you would want to eat and not just honeydew filler. Corned beef hash was great and homemade muffin was delicious. Only downside was very loud music 1st thing in the morning. I must be getting old.

We are huge breakfast people. So when we looking for breakfast places we came upon here & decided to chance it! Boy are we glad we did. We thought there was going to be a terrible wait, but we got sat quite quickly! My girls 2 & 3 got the smores pancakes & oreo pancakes. The smores was very good,... More

1st time there this past weekend, and are a big fan. Great classic breakfast place. I always try the classic 1st time around and their's is great. The over easy eggs were cook PERFECTLY. I loved their link sausage, a nice thick link. I asked for the potatoes to be extra crispy and that was the trick! They were great.... More

We made a weekend trip to Chicago recently to visit a friend. She recommended Yolk for breakfast so we took her word for it an waited the 45 minutes to get a table, TOTALLY WORTH IT! There are only a handful of memorable breakfast places in Toronto and Yolk trumps them all! I had the basic eggs benedict and my... More

Yolk was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Chicago. So good in fact, we were very close to coming back a second time, however the interest to try as many new places as we could got the best of us! Although, after having just a so-so experience at Sunny Side Up Cafe, I wish we... More

We went to yolk based on a recommendation which turned out to be accurate. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered blintzes, the corned beef hash and had pancakes. Everything was delicious and well made.
