You'll Be Hooked!

We visit our son frequently in Chicago, and he took us there several years ago, knowing I would want to try it because of Guy and Triple D. I liked it so much that we visit Glenn's Diner every time we are in Chicago. Don't be fooled by the name, it is more than just a diner. (I love diners!)... read more

We had researched this place looking for fresh seafood in Chicago...the blackboard specials looked amazing and we saw they received fresh fish daily! Our daughter's graduation from UIC was the evening before so we made reservations for three for Mother's Day since we were going to be In Chicago overnight. Our research also led us to the DDD you-tube and... More

A very busy "SeaFood" & "Breakfast" place next to the train station, along the bus route, surrounded by many small businesses and apartments. Study the menu before you go to see if its to your taste. A cool place for cool people, like you & me, but style ain't cheap, so plan to spend a little. Service seems very good,... More

Way more than a diner this little neighborhood place right next to the Montrose Brown station has great food and the most extensive seafood menu you will find anywhere. Nothing fancy inside just really well prepared food and very fast and efficient service. Has large menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items but the seafood selection really sets it apart.... More

I have a family of seafood lovers and without fail we're disappointed almost every time we try some place new. Don't get me wrong, it's not that every place is bad but there are times when, for the price anyway, we expect truly good to great seafood and are disappointed. We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. The feel... More

This unique restaurant was a fun place to go for brunch. My husband and I were visiting Chicago, and decided to try a place featured on the Food Channel Show, "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." We found this very not fancy, but unique restaurant in the Ravenswood area. It is very near the "L," in fact, you can see it if... More

I have thought about this burger three times since I ate it on 02/11/15; My husband had the BLT, which was bigger than his face; I had a bite, and it did not disappoint. Most surprisingly was that we were coming in before the dinner rush. The staff was amazing; very professional and our server was very congenial and let... More

Spent a night with friends at the diner after watching Guys Drive and Dine show which talked about fish. Love the Marlin and tasted my friends plate, food was spot on and was not disappointed at all! This is my new seafood place to eat on Chicago.

Finally came to check out Glenn's after hearing many friends raving about it. Most people seem to suggest it for weekend brunch - but its great for any meal, we had early dinner and it was wonderful! We had the shrimp-cargot as an appetizer (perfect to share), the swordfish & their amazing lobster fettuccine Alfredo. All of these were very... More
