we were a foursome and had dinner on Friday evening. The menu is posted on a huge chalk board. We all had some type of fish. We had a reservation for 6 PM and had no problem. The food was very good and the waiter knew his stuff. It's also BYOB so you can save a lot of money that.... More

Attention owner of Glenn's diner. You have wonderful food, a terrific restaurant, and your waitstaff is horrible. Stopped in here for a late lunch about 2 PM with two teenage boys into adults. There was more waitstaff then customers in the restaurant but you would not know it from the poor service we all received. Unfortunately when you have great... More

Our daughter found this place by searching for restaurants near the Mercury theater on Southport. We arrived just before 8:00 PM on a Saturday and even though the place was completely full, we managed to get a table right by the front door after someone failed to show up for their reservation. We did know in advance that there would... More

One word . . wow! Great menu! Excellent service. I loved this restaurant! The King Crab Legs were succulent and worth every penny!

Go for the fresh fish! The options are plentiful and posted on blackboards on either side of the dining room. I have eaten at Glenn's before and enjoyed the food tremendously. I had a pretzel coated walleye this trip which was cooked to perfection but lacked something. I just couldn't put my finger on it. The calamari is portioned to... More

Service was outstanding!! The food was delicious, and the mimosas were so tasty, as were the Bloody Marys. I'd recommend this place for brunch to anyone, and I'm looking forward to going back to try some seafood.

Delicious fish and there are SO many options that are constantly changing! The place is tiny, but they do offer some outdoor seating in the summer. Be prepared to wait a long time for a table during prime hours. Oh, and they also have all you can eat crab legs on Tuesdays for around $50, I believe. If you love... More

The food was excellent as always. Our server thought he was too cool for school with his ivy league cap and lazy attitude. For example when we asked why the Halibut had been removed from the menu he felt it necessary to make up a story about the season not opening until May. We eat a lot of fish and... More

It has been quite a while since we have been to Glen’s Diner and we had heard that the ownership had changed. So, we really did not know what to expect. As with any big change we did see a bit of a difference. First the food seems to be as good as ever. It is beyond me how a... More

Glenn's has a big diner menu, including breakfast all day, but they also have a huge selection of seafood which is prepared and presented creatively. The clam chowder is awesome. I had the Walleye Pike, which is coated in chopped pretzels and pan fried. Everything was perfectly cooked and had great eye appeal. We didn't have dessert, but the choices... More
