Had a group of 6 people sat a round table so everyone could talk. Food was good, portions large. The only problem is the washroom for the restaurant is way up in the lobby of the attached hotel. (a 5-10 min walk)

We were staying at the Embassy Suites and this restaurant is attached through the lobby. We went there because we just didn't want to leave the hotel and we're glad we did. There is a pizzeria side and a full menu side. We chose the full menu. Cozy, dark but nicely lit. Nice ambience and very good service. Our waiter... More

We went here for dinner and opted for the dinner party menu where the antipasti, sides and pasta are served family style and then each person also gets to pick a main course. This was a great choice as everything was outstanding. The warm farro and gorgonzola & pear bruschetta were the best. I had seafood stew which was really good,... More

I came here with my family for dinner when we were staying at the Embassy Suites. The restaurant was very crowded and busy but we got seated quickly and were waited on promptly. We each ordered something different and everything was quite good except for the mixed greens salad I ordered which was so vinegary that it was inedible. I... More

We were in Chicago for the weekend and made a reservation via Open Table for Osteria via Stato. We were a bit early and we were greeted warmly by the reception staff. We were seated immediately and Bill, our server explained the menu to us. They served us delicious warm bread and roasted garlic with olive oil while we looked... More

The food is ok for the price and convenience. I was working in the Embassy and needed a quick lunch. Called it in and picked it up. I expected fresher ingredients from my caprese salad and margherita flat bread. It was ok.

We had reservations and had to wait about 15 min when we arrived...granted it was a busy weekend! Good atmosphere and decor...staff was friendly. Decent options on the dinner and wine menu...some of our party was disappointed in portions of our entrees. Taste was good, but have had better authentic Italian dishes.

I was checking in late to my hotel and noticed that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel. I was excited to try because it was Italain. I went in around 9:30 on the bar side and they had limited menu. The onion baked with Parmesan cheese was simply amazing, the plate of meats and cheeses was excellent too..also... More

We were very impressed with this restaurant! Three people in our group chose Parmesan Crusted Filet Cavatelli with Wild Mushrooms and Brown Butter. All three said it was one of the best steaks they have ever eaten. I chose Chicken Mario. I wish I could have the recipe!!! It was absolutely wonderful. 10 stars from me!

We went to Osteria after shopping on Michigan Avenue. The location was good, the ambiance was very pleasant--the lighting and sound levels were conducive to good discussion and the service was good as well. This is important for me because I feel most places now play the music way too loud. Everyone seems to be trying to make their restaurant... More
