This was truly one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The service was just as great as the food. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all of the menu options. I had the burger and it literally melted in my mouth. It was... More

Hot chocolate was okay. I make it better at home. However the foods make up for it but it little pricey.

Stumbled upon this spot walking through wicker park on Sunday afternoon. My friend and I each had a hot chocolate with homemade marshmallow, heavenly! We also ordered a peach pie and blueberry pie, both were light and perfectly sweet! Service was so generous and helpful. We took a bag of mexican hot chocolate to go!

I go to Chicago about 4-5 times per year and enjoy trying different restaurants each time I go. Except for Hot Chocolate! This is an absolute must visit every time I am there, not only because of the amazing food, but the great service and atmosphere as well. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely 100% out of this world. I... More

Awesome hot chocolate, great pastries, but a little pricy. Worth the trip, get a bag of Hot Chocolate.

I have been here several times in the last three years and look forward to it every time I come back. I've actually only ever had the hamburger for my entree but it's the best hamburger I've ever had. It comes with a fried egg on top and melts in your mouth. The real winner is the desserts. There is... More

This restaurant is easily overlooked as it's small and unobtrusive, but serves up great food with excellent service. The menu offers a refreshingly different mix of entrees and sandwiches along with the desserts for which it's justly famous. We loved the 'Creama Kasa' (lamb on rolled-up flatbread,) and the largest crabcake sandwich I've ever seen, but the highlight was undoubtedly... More

Family members raved good the food and dessert was here. Definitely in a young hipster neighborhood. The "cheese plate" consisted of a single small piece of cheese with a schmer of jam and two pieces of bread. The duck dish with spratzel was good, but my daughter-in-law thought the skin should be crispy. The crab cake sandwich was good but... More

First off, don't let the name fool you. In the summer a "Hot Chocolate" might not sound like what your looking for. BUT, they can pour it over ice and it's pure magic. They also have homemade marshmallows. Yum! You can even buy some to take home and make yourself. Just go there.

This place is located in a charming part of the city and does absolutely have the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted. I plan on going back just for that. All the desserts (the ones I had were all chocolate flavored) were amazing. I went here with family and friends for my birthday dinner - the dinner food was really... More
