What else can you ask for besides a completely unpretentious bib gourmand rated restaurant that is busy every day of the week. They have tons of beers and specialize in Belgians. I've never had anything but an exceptional time here and have been coming for years!

Came here with my pops for some hops. Nice clean area as soon as you enter. There is additional dining in back. We were a little confused at first because we didn't know you have to go up to the bar to order if you are sitting in the front area. The workers are very friendly and helpful. I ordered... More

Had the opportunity to try Hopleaf for a Sunday brunch. The food was good. I recommend the CB&J and the steamed muscles w/ fries. The fries and aioli were amazing. The beer selection was impressive. I tried several drinks off the beer menu and none disappointed.

I have been here once before, but had to order the same entree because I loved it so much. I highly recommend the CB&J-Cashew Butter, Fig Jam & toasted cheese sandwich. Yum!! Excellent beer selection too!

The appetizers, specifically the sausage plate and the potato-cheddar croquettes were both very good and have me wanting to come back for dinner. The beer selection is very large and made up of high quality choices. This is a local bar/restaurant that is easy to reach by using the "L" Red Line and getting off at the Berwyn stop.

Surprised that they didn't brew any of their own, but the broad array of tapped beer more than made up for that Food was excellent. Scallops, fried chicken and pork chops.

The food was great, the atmosphere is typical of a neighborhood tavern however the beer selection was disappointing. When I travel to other cities, I try to seek out neighborhood establishments, hence this restaurant. I was disappointed that the large beer list did not include more beer selections from some very good local breweries, that are within walking distance of... More

They know their stuff! Sides and mains are well-suited to beer aficionados. Service is spare but friendly. If you're going to try good beers, you will be happy.

As other reviews have stated, this pub has a great location and is a fantastic place for beer, as the selection is extensive. Service is professional and friendly. The food menu is simple but interesting and has all the items you would want to find in a gastropub - mussels, steak frites, sausages. The food would have been excellent, if... More

I try to come here every time I am in Chicago. I love good craft beer and this place has an excellent selection of US and Belgium Beers. The atmosphere is perfect for a place like this. Nice outdoor patio in the back, dimly lit dark woods etc. The food is also tasty, streak frites and other good bar options.... More
