A Classic

A days has been around for many years, but is still one of the best jazz clubs in Chicago. We dropped in after some dinner at Shaws next door and caught the end set of the first group and the first set of the second group. There is a cover charge that increases after 7 pm but it's worth catching... read more

The club has good music, but the entrance is expensive $ 15 per person without drinks, the waiter who has a beard was rude and despotic. I would not recommend this club while this waiter has continue working there.

I have eaten at Andy's both times I have been to Chicago. I love it! The food is superb. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The music and atmosphere is just outstanding! Multiple music acts playing each night, and they all have their own style and personalities but engage the crowd in a way I have never experienced in another... More

This place was recommended to us by a friend for the Jazz. The music was great, and the food was good too. To get a table you must make dinner reservations, and there is a 2-hour limit for the table. There were two sets, and we got there for the 9:30 pm set. We felt like we had to eat... More

Chicago has some good jazz and good restaurants.. Put them together and you can get a great night out. Andy's jazz club on Hubbard, falls into that catagary. A welcome greeting, good service and brilliant food. The starters were that good, you could just eat and eat and forget the main course. But we did'nt. I had the rack of... More

Jazz was good. It is hard for me to make a great evaluation because I prefer blues over jazz. The bar was friendly and we sat right at the bar vs a dinner table. $15 cover charge though to get in.

We went to Andy's on. Recent vacation in Chicago. This is a wonderful experience right from entering the building. A band was playing terrific music and the smell of the food was wonderful. Highly recommended: Barrett's Bloody Mary, Crab Cake Duo, and Cajun Shrimp Risotto. I would, and have already, recommended this location to friends and family.

I always carve out time for a trip to Andy's every time I'm in downtown Chicago, and they never disappoint. Performances are straight ahead jazz at its best, and the food is great as well. I recommend the calamari, the greek salad, and the pizzas.
