Ok, not expecting a lot other than good music, but we were shocked when it was the favorite meal of our trip. Salmon prepared perfectly, best salad I've had in ages, and a burger that disappeared in about 5 minutes. Great service as well. Only downside was cover charge on top of dinner price. $10. a piece with a 2... More

I took my family here for are annual Chicago Christmas shopping weekend and had a great time. It was the first jazz club for my 11 and 13 year old kids. They loved the music and atmosphere. The food was not bad either. In fact it was better than I expected. I would recommend Andys!!

Yes, they serve dinner. I didn't try it. Just went for the music. Comfortable River North location for live jazz until 1a. We go almost every time we are in the city.

As a school band, we had the privilege to go to Chicago for a few nights. On our first night, they took us to Andy's (conveniently located in the heart of the city) and we all had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was amazing and it was an interesting experience as it was my first time in a jazz... More

The band we heard was traditional Jazz, not my favorite, but the food was excellent. My friend and I shared the apple spinach salad; so yummy! Also shared Cajun spice shrimp over risotto. Wonderful and enough for two. Nice wine list. Note there is also a cover charge to hear band. Seems a bit excessive if you are also eating... More

Went by myself on a business trip. Made reservation a few hours before to ensure a seat - caught the second set by Chicago Jazz Orchestra. Food was quick and good (Pizza and salad), service was great. Jazz was wonderful - just a nice relaxed evening. There was a cover charge, but it wasn't crazy.

Great jazz, good food and drinks. And one of the biggest advantages over other jazz and blues clubs in Chicago: lets you stay with your kid (11 years old) if arrive before 7 PM e stay seated at a table for the show.

I've been going to Andy's over the last 10 years and had an opportunity on the evening that the Chicago Jazz Orchestra was playing with a full 16-17 piece orchestra; needless to say, it was an amazing evening and that's before getting into the meal. Don't let this place fool you, as the food here is amazing too. For the... More

Great place to just sit back enjoy the music and some wonderful food and lovey wait staff! Music is fantastic and not to loud. We heard the Chicago Jazz Orchestra, what a perfect venue! Excellent location too! I wish we had more time in town, this would have been a regular stop.

was looking for a place with live music and close to my hotel. Andy's Jazz bar was great little joint. Had a great meal (braised beef as I recall) and a cool trio was playing. It made my night!
