We are a block away from Orange and Blue lines. The Red line is in front of the restaurant. Buses are running all day and into the night. Because of our neighbor the Palmer House Hilton taxis are always available.

Centrally located at the same spot since 1967, B&B has been a Chicago tradition for area people and city visitors for hearty breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. We have added the new and now famous home made French bread and Foccacia, and the dough is made fresh daily. We are proud and appreciative of our regular customers and eager to please new ones. Our bar has been updated with a new Sound & Light system, a dance floor, and satellite TV.

This place was a recommended to us by a local who's told us about the place. On the outside it didn't really look like much, rather like a bit of a unfriendly place actually, BUT(!) after a quick look at the menu we got inside and it was great! There was a man who asked: "table for two?" And only... More

We stayed at the Palmer House Hilton and ate breakfast here most days. It's a typical diner no more no less. We felt comfortable and well looked after. We had lunch one day which was good. An easy going place with pleasant staff.

We ate here on a Sunday evening, desperately hungry because few other establishments were open. We had arrived around 7:40-45pm, not a terribly outrageous dinner time back home for us, and were sat downstairs between a handful of other groups. We made an initial order, only to learn that my friend's drink was unavailable as was my entree of fish... More

It's disappointing to read that you regret dining with us, Kayla Ann, especially since my team should never make you feel rushed. I'll be addressing this with them ASAP, and I do hope you might be willing to give us another shot, because we definitely can do better. All the best, Steve S., General Manager More

I was in Chicago for a business trip, and this restaurant was very close to our hotel. Along with many types of brandy, the restaurant had very good chicken and beef dishes. I went there on 2 separate nights. On the 2nd night, the service was slow and the waiter apologized. The service on the first night was fine. The... More

Had a yelp coupon that was ignored at checkout. Pity for waiter since I took most of it out of his tip... Draft beer was good (better than Elephant & Castle!). Salad was good as well. Ribs were... Good as in that it fell of the bone, by was about 70% fat... Sorry but I do like to have some... More

I wish we could have left you with a stronger impression. In future, never hesitate to point out our mistake if we fail to take notice of a coupon! I also appreciate the feedback about the food and decor. Our building's definitely in need of some updates, and it's incredibly helpful to hear what our guests are looking for. All... More

Food was awesome but the service was so so. The girl never smiled even though we were one of the only 2 or 3 tables being served in the whole restaurant. Prices were good too for down town Chicago.

It's great to hear you loved the food, William, though of course I wish I could say the same for the service. I do appreciate the feedback, though, and I'll be passing your feedback on to my waitstaff ASAP. I hope you'll stop in and see us again soon! All the best, Steve S., General Manager More

My husband and I looked forward to eating here as its location was perfect in relation to our stay at the Palmer House. On Saturday night around 830 pm, we arrived there for dinner.
