We are a block away from Orange and Blue lines. The Red line is in front of the restaurant. Buses are running all day and into the night. Because of our neighbor the Palmer House Hilton taxis are always available.

Centrally located at the same spot since 1967, B&B has been a Chicago tradition for area people and city visitors for hearty breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. We have added the new and now famous home made French bread and Foccacia, and the dough is made fresh daily. We are proud and appreciative of our regular customers and eager to please new ones. Our bar has been updated with a new Sound & Light system, a dance floor, and satellite TV.

Nice diner

Nice address to have a good meal at a reasonable price. The people there are nice and very helpful. Condidering the size of the portions we could easily share with ours kids which was not a problem.

Don't love beef, don't love brandy, couldn't believe that's where we were being taken for lunch. Surprise! it's closer to an American diner (with Greek/Mediterranean inflections) dressed up as a restaurant. We had most of the (all day!) breakfast menu, and everything got thumbs up. Service was reasonably quick and very friendly. Will come back to try some of the... More

Our party of 7 popped in here to avoid the high prices at the restaurant in the hotel and we were very happy. Although it's a pretty place to eat it is in actuality a Diner on steroids. The menu serves all day breakfast and roast turkey dinner. The portions were very healthy and the bill was reasonable. A beer... More

Good food and generally quiet atmosphere. Excellent service. Liked the decor as well. Good location right on State street so easy to find. Can make reservations for groups which is good to know. Not a really large place. Good variety of specialty drinks. Prices quite reasonable.

We had a great breakfast. We wanted more than just pastries for breakfast and B & B filled the bill. Eggs, omelet and more were served well prepared. The price was good too. The staff were pleasant and efficient. A real gem in Chicago.

Our hotel recommended this place for breakfast and bloody Mary's. The food was pretty good, bloody Mary's were average but the service was excellent! It's worth while.

A nice spot for a quick bite; decor a bit dated and the room dark but service was friendly and the food good for the price.

If you are at the Palmer House then this is a must visit. The atmosphere is a bit like a diner and the staff is warm and friendly. The food portions a are HUGE and very good. Prices are fair.

Stayed at The Palmer House and wanted something close. Got a recommendation from a guy on the streets and it was a great place. Great menu options and we had a great server!
