Good stuff!!

We like the staff and the option of boiled or char dogs. The fries helping is plentyful. The place is a little small. But the food is good. Expect to pay for each item separately, and they only take cash.

A nice informal place to get a great burger, char dogs and fries. A steady stream of customers with takeout orders but food was served quickly.

Excellent food and a friendly staff (during the day). I didn't get a chance to go back at night, which, from what I heard, is truly entertaining. Ordered a hotdog "chicago-style" and was very satisfied. I probably could've eaten a few, so if you're only hungry for a snack, this might be a good place to grab one!

A great place to eat a famous Chicago style hot dog. After midnight it gets a little raunchy with the cursing and the chocolate milkshake. People are drunk and its a fun atmosphere.

This was everything to me!!! I asked for the "True Chicago-Dog-Experience" and they DELIVERED ‼️ I, personally, have to have ketchup on all of my hotdogs and hamburgers... But apparently this is offensive to suggest on the Chicago dog. However, ketchup was the last thing on my mind after the first bite!!! I ❤️'d every moment!! 👅

They only take cash and they talk really loud but, oh man, great hotdogs here. I had my first ever Chicago dog and absolutely loved it. Also loved that it looks like a dive!

Friendly service from gals that had worked there for 15 years plus and they also shared that the same people owned the shop all the years they've worked there. Very fresh toppings and meat was delicious. Natural skin casing with lots of flavor. Served up fast and hot! In or outdoor seating. Prices were very reasonable. If you want a... More

No better place for a late night dog and fries especially after hitting the bars. Get a char-dog and cheese fries for the true experience. Not much décor but the interaction between the folks at the counter and the sometimes inebriated customers can be hilarious.

We lived in Chicago over 25 years ago, and on this return trip we just had to go to an all-time favorite! The char-grilled hot dogs and French fries were just as good as we remembered....this place is a classic
