Good stuff!!

We like the staff and the option of boiled or char dogs. The fries helping is plentyful. The place is a little small. But the food is good. Expect to pay for each item separately, and they only take cash.

Friendly service from gals that had worked there for 15 years plus and they also shared that the same people owned the shop all the years they've worked there. Very fresh toppings and meat was delicious. Natural skin casing with lots of flavor. Served up fast and hot! In or outdoor seating. Prices were very reasonable. If you want a... More

No better place for a late night dog and fries especially after hitting the bars. Get a char-dog and cheese fries for the true experience. Not much décor but the interaction between the folks at the counter and the sometimes inebriated customers can be hilarious.

We lived in Chicago over 25 years ago, and on this return trip we just had to go to an all-time favorite! The char-grilled hot dogs and French fries were just as good as we remembered....this place is a classic

A small dive joint in Lincoln Park. I found out about it absolutely at random just bus riding until I came somewhere interesting. I got a char Polish dog with everything and fries. The dog was so good I went back and got a second one. I do believe from their reaction I am just one customer in a long... More

Good hot dogs. Didn't receive the hyped s-talking, but I was ok with that. The Chicago style dog is good, as was most everything else. Prices are fair, and it's in a nice outer neighborhood. Nothing gourmet or life-changing about it.

We recently visited Chicago and came into the trip wanting to try an authentic, Chicago dog. My girlfriend had gotten a recommendation from one of her co-workers that used to live in Chicago to try this place. It was very good, and I can now say I've had an authentic Chicago-Dog. I would definitely go back

This place, is great for the reactions. If you are conservative and narrow minded, this is probably is not the place for you as the experience is what you get every day at the wiener circle. Don't expect some mannerly person to take your order, they are known for this entertainment. You talk foul to them and they do the... More

Where do you start? The personalities in this restaurant can only be appreciated for how they operate and all the good humored vulgarities that make this place unique. I cant say the food is any better than that of a hot dog cart, which those might be even better, but the hype and exposure this place has had, makes it... More
