My party had the creative and delicious flora menu. It was fun and whimsical and unique. The service was excellent and skilled, and the sommelier made sure we all loved the wine we were drinking. In this era of craft cocktails, it did strike me as a lost opportunity for the creative food to be without a comparably creative cocktail... More

I had high expectations for Grace after recommendations from some people I trust. They thought it was on the level of Per Se and were not surprised it had received a third star. The restaurant is beautifully devoted. Our server, Adam, was young, energetic, and excellent. His personality and excitement definitely added to the experience. I don't drink but my... More

Our meal at Grace was literally perfect. I have a hard time finding fault with a single part of the experience, and I am pretty picky. I have eaten at other three Michelin star restaurants, and Grace is my favorite so far. I worked with Chef Duffy when he was in Columbus, and it was amazing to see what he... More

We've been to Grace several times, and I've reviewed them before. But our most recent visit was the best yet. The food continues to be inventive, flavorful, incredibly well presented. Everyone at the restaurant is very friendly. We again received spot on advice about wine. So why was this better? The preparations and presentations felt even more ambitious yet exactly... More

Very positive experience here at Grace. We were able to take pictures with the chef and hear his story, and how exceptional it was to receive his 3rd star, and so quickly. The venue is definitely very romantic, professional, and dark. We were lucky to get a full tour of the basement where the chefs hung out also. Why I... More

Web Site doesn't work. We would like to go to this restaurant because of the lovely ratings you all give it, but could not get the web site to work. Too many great restaurants in Chicago, so we'll just move on!

First impressions were good, softer fabrics, comfortable chairs and attentive. Only after we settled did the hairline cracks start to appear; overbearing wine server intent on delivering the Spiel at all costs (although, wonderful wines!), A/C unit cranked-up way too high and for those along the wall, arctic chills (so much so that the restaurant has woolen shawls on standby!).... This is an experience that I can only describe as an exquisite evening. We were late for our reservation but we're greeted with a warm welcome. The decor is simple, sophisticated, and uncrowded. The staff is excellent. The ambience is special but unpretentious. The food is an experience that I will not try to describe as others have already. I... More

Everything we had, from little tastes to each course was as delicious as any food I have had anywhere in the world. Worth a splurge.
