Great food - inventive, sophisticated, filling (important!) and unpretentious. Amazingly competent and knowledgeable staff: seamless service of many, many different waiters is a VERY difficult trick to pull off with such assurance - impressive. The people here care: a tour of the kitchen is offered and the manager takes you and your reservation seriously. "we research you when we have... More

I enjoyed the best meal of my life with some friends and business colleagues at Grace last night. The entire experience was impeccable-- the food, the wine pairings, the service, the atmosphere. I don't really know what else to say. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world- including French Laundry, Per Se, Tru, Inn at... More

Prepare for a show of your life. This place is crazy fantastic. Chef Duffy is handsome as hell and all tatted up and rocking out meals that are beyond normal dinner. You will be amazed. By far the best meal experience of my over 50 years. Dont miss this experience.

We went to Grace for our anniversary in January 2015 and it did not disappoint. When it comes to dining experiences this was right up there with Alinea for us. Attire: Dress up. This place feels more 'dressy' than Alinea did for us. Jackets aren't required, but I'd wear one. You're about to blow ~$900 on a meal for two,... More

I now know what three star Michelin is all about. I've been to one star several times, but had never been to a three. It's not about the stars, but Grace deserves all the accolades it gets. That was an experience I will never forget. The environment is IMPECCABLE. The service couldn't be more human and APPROPRIATE. The food is... More

I reviewed this restaurant in Nov of 2013 and stated it did not live up to the hype as we didn't enjoy our first experience here. However I am happy to say that I have returned and the experience was near perfect! The food was far better than before, and the service was much better too. I think part of... More

My wife and I recently dined at Grace to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We typically use our anniversary as an opportunity to explore some of the country's best restaurants including The French Laundry, Alinea, Tru, Avenues, Trotter's and Sixteen. All of these restaurants are superb, but I wanted to write this review to single out Grace as I believe it... More

I've eaten in a number of Michelin 3 Star restaurants in Tokyo, New York, Paris and now Chicago and while the menu was terrific (imaginative and great on the palate) as was the wine list, and the staff terrific - efficient and friendly but not inappropriately - I was stunned by the final bill. By comparison I ate at Daniel... More

Okay, this is a good news, bad news review which accounts for 3 circles. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. We always try to have a super duper, special meal for each other's dinner. And we waited until a trip to Chicago to have the meal that would send us over the top. Well, we did and didn't have... More
