My first 3-star

Excellent experience and fabulously creativity. I felt a bit guilty on this bordering a little too indulgent.

Just received their third Michelin star which is long over due. Chef Duffy puts on a show......precision and shear perfection with every step they take. The tasting menu is as creative as it gets all paired with wine which go perfectly with each course. Now this doesn't come with a small price tag....you will need to dig deep!!! Is it... More

Grace is, without a doubt, an excellent dining experience. One of the very best in a city that has a lot of fine dining options. The space: Reserved and elegant dining room. Muted tones. Open kitchen so you can watch the action from your seat. Overall on the quiet side. There were two tables facing the kitchen directly so if... More

If you have the time, funds and can get a table GO! The service flawless. The meal was stunning. Think not only taste but textures. The food presentation is really art. The wine pairing was a great addition. I have been to many great restaurants and this in the top three

Last night I had the privilege of eating at Chicago's newest Michelin 3-star restaurant. How do I ever describe this remarkable meal? Get ready for superlatives. Mind you, I'm no Michelin star novice, yet I'm almost at a loss for words. Think Gordon Ramsey on the best day of his cooking life except no yelling in this immaculate, marble-slabbed divinity... Much better than Alinea, and better than Tru's tasting menu. Plan 3 1/2 -4 hrs for 9 courses (choose between all vegetarian or meat/fish), both come with an array of exquisite mini breads with artisan butters. The lentil english muffin was one of my favorite things in the whole meal! Not all of the portions are tasting-menu tiny, and the... More

If you are reading this, you know their credentials. Michelin 3 stars, very high end...you are not going to have a wedge and NY strip. What you will experience is a masterpiece of taste, service and presentation. One dessert course was a compote served inside a 'shell' of some type- the preparation was to spoon a mixture into a latex... More

Although very expensive it was worth every penny. Food was superb and imaginative. We had the meat/fish version of the tasting menu with wine pairings which were outstanding. What pushed Grace to the top of my list was the service which managed to be highly professional yet very warm and friendly.
