We went here for an anniversary dinner and the place is all class. Our taxi had a little trouble finding the place.....just look for the silver door. The venue is modern, small and very personal. At 2 michelin stars the food was as amazing as expected. Where this place really stood out was in the wine pairing and service. At... More

Extraordinarily creative and complex food! I agree with the extensive praise in all the reviews and cannot add any new thoughts about the food, ambiance, and service. So here are 3 tips about what surprised us, a couple going out for anniversary dinner: Surprise #1 $205 per person, plus drinks tax & tips. Surprise #2 we missed out on some... More

I was afraid that I could not enjoy a place like Grace because it would be too sophisticated for my palate. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. Tyronne and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and articulate regarding the courses, Each bite was exquisite. The courses were perfectly timed by Adam and left the kitchen with a cadence that... More

The fact that this restaurant is so highly revered in Chicago-land and amongst food critics, leads me to believe that my palate is simply not refined enough to fully grasp the complexities of Grace's menu. With that in mind, my experience was not bad, nor will I be going back. We went on Valentine's Day and were expecting a higher... More

We went here for a late dinner with friends. It really is a wonderful experience. Our dinner started out with a tour of the kitchen and we met Chef Duffy. The kitchen is actually spectacular and worth a look - it is spotless and a total OCD dream. The dining room is very well designed - crisp and clean, just... More

I walked past this restaurant a few times as it's almost hidden. What a quiet little gem of a restaurant. The staff is very informative and know their wines and foods well. If you go, plan on spending a pretty penny, but you won't be disappointed with the flavor of the food. I liked that afterwards we got to tour... More

We were back at Grace, and the entire experience was just as good as noted in my previous review. The food was outstanding, everyone is pleasant, and things happen just as you think of them (having your checked items ready as you walk out is a very nice touch). The food has many inventive combinations, with wonderful flavors. Each plate... More

Grace has it all. Service, ambience and cooking at a level we've never experienced before. In context, we also dined at Alinea and Sixteen this trip and this far surpassed either. Formal, but not stuffy, with food that was flavourful and imaginative, but not silly. The pricing for the tasting menu plus wine pairing is great value for this experience.... More

Grace is one of the top restaurants in the city and, like many others, has a prix-fixe menu. The food was excellent - very artistic plates. The service was superlative. The wine pairings were excellent and the pours were very generous, The room is quiet, comfortable, and understated. They offer visits to the open kitchen. It's definitely worth a visit... More

Ate dinner with my fiance at Grace on a Saturday night. From the time I called for a reservation to the end of our meal, the staff was friendly and helpful. You could say that the staff at all high end restaurants are always helpful and trying to anticipate your needs, but the staff at Grace were a lot more... More
