The bar-b-que was good tasting, but the price was really high, and the bun was huge, taking away from the bar-b-que. The cole slaw was sour and the fries were soggy, I guess when you order to go, it doesn't matter.

Could not be more wrong. Great back ribs, in a train station. Unbelievable. My wife had the BBQ pork sandwich, It also did not disappoint. If the BBQ was this good at in a "food court" in a train station there other restaurants must be something else.

Rib tips and beef ribs with a trio of sauces!!! Fantastic taste and very meaty tips. Slow Service!!! Even thou it took 45mins for 2 starter portions with 4 customers in the joint, I'D GLADLY WAIT AGAIN!!!

Nice atmosphere. Good service. Great ribs and pulled pork! My four year old daughter described it as delish!

I ordered beef ribs online, which were delivered to my hotel. One word: YECH. Well dried meat wrapped around some bones and covered with some mediocre sauce. I got onion rings on the side. A meager amount of mediocre rings. Not bad, but definitely not good. Oh, and there was "cornbread" with the meal. Hmmm. A smallish muffin thing, sweet,... More

After visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo this was a great stop for dinner. Ribs were great, wings were great, slaw was great, corn muffin was great, mac and cheese was average. Facilities are basic but more than adequate. Service was fine. Good BBQ is all that you need to read.

I sampled Robinson's No. 1 Ribs last year at Taste of Chicago and recently got a chance to go the restaruant on Armitage. The ribs are the best I have had in Chicago. They cut the rack into individual ribs which is nice, and they come wet, but ask for them dry and apply your own sauce. They have three... More

Robinson's slow cooked ribs are just plain wonderful. Reasonable prices, home-cooked and slow cooked, delicious! The restaurant is located right next to a high school, so don't go there around lunch time on a weekday unless you like kids!

Ribs (and rib tips) were OK. I'm a molasses and brown sugar sauce sort of guy, and Robinson's sauce is more of a ketchup and vinegar base (kind of orange) Onion rings were nothing special (all six of them) 6.5 out of 10
