Had brunch on Saturday--would have preferred a lunch menu at 11:00, but the brunch choices were good and our food was good. A couple of things were annoying, however. The waiter hovered and couldn't wait to take our orders even though we were in no hurry. The dining room was fairly empty. Then, we couldn't understand why they seated another... More

Being from new Jersey, we aren't happy to see high prices for pasta, but when the waiter explained the size of the portions and how most people share, it all made sense, especially since we were flying out this night and couldn't take a meal home. The waiter, Patrick, made us feel like we were at home. Between the four... More

Great Italian Food. Fantastic Service. We walked there from our hotel one evening to have dinner. Large Portions. Italian Wedding Soup was very good. 2 (big) Meatballs and spaghetti delicious. My older son order shrimp w/pasta in vodka sauce and liked that too.

I went to Rosebud with my family and was with an excellent crowd of people. It was my first time and I was blown away by the food. If you're looking for a somewhat fancy dinner, this could be your best bet in town

I was in Chicago for business and just happened to be a block away from Rosebud. I went in for lunch and was glad I did! The staff was prompt and courteous. The prices were reasonable (for downtown Chicago). And the meatball sandwich was absolutely delicious. Never disappointed here. Highly recommend.

Rosebud is very old school--it features the traditional Italian dishes that have been around forever. I ate lunch there because it was close to my hotel and the other neighborhood places were packed on a Friday afternoon but the Rosebud had immediate seating. The dishes my wife and I had were adequate but nothing particularly special. The pasta was a... More

My husband and I were in Chicago for an anniversary trip. The Rosebud was located near our hotel (within walking distance). On our way back from shopping we stopped in to make dinner reservations. The staff was very nice. We went back a few hours later and had a wonderfule dining experience. The food was really good and the staff... More

OMG! My hubby and I went for Valentines dinner last Feb. The brick chicken is the best. Flavorful and juicey! My husband and I shared the stuffed mushrooms- The sauce was divine! We enjoyed some wine and great service. On the down side, they crammed more tables in the place just for valentines day so our table was right up... More

Busy night as the Resto was full of marathoners-staff wore running shoes-great touch. Eventhough super busy reservation was kept. Caprese salad was huge is size and weirdly, they put roasted peppers on to. Other odd item was olive oil and Parmesan cheese dipping for bread Pastas all a good size and gluten free options available Pastas were good but sauces... More
