I had no idea what to expect, honestly. Our friends made a reservation for this place months ahead of time but i had not even taken the time to look up the theme or anything. What a treat! The themed drinks were a delight. The whole atmosphere was one of a kind. Good munchies as well. Well worth the trip... More

This was so unexpected. The entrance was down an alley way. Then walking down there was the really cool wall of blue skulls. Then when you finally make it to the bar, its a legit tiki bar. Plus the bartenders are wearing tommy Bahama shirts. Real cool place.

After many months of trying to get to Three Dots and a Dash, we finally made it there on October 3rd, which also turned out to be the first day with snow in Chicago. So that was a good day to escape the cold and go to "the islands". We arrived shortly before their opening time at 5pm (Saturday) and... More

If you're young, hip and looking for a nice place to hang out with friends, this is an excellent choice. It's mainly a place to have drinks - the bar is really well designed - and you can get small plates (tapas) if you're hungry to go with some of he many exotic drinks offered on their menu. We ordered... More

Three Dots and a Dash has a unique environment (very dark). We went for one of their signature cocktails. They were definitely interesting but weren't anything too special as far as taste goes- you get bang for your buck as far as liquor goes though! The service was surprisingly very good and the drinks were presented beautifully.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this place. My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate my new job and a successful week in general and had a fabulous time. First of all, they now take reservations, which is excellent. We went in at 8:00pm and had a prime table right at the bar in the main room. I love... More

We were excited to try Three Dots after seeing them win Best New American Cocktail Bar at Tales of the Cocktail this year (2014), and it was a worthwhile if not mind-blowing experience. We had reservations, and were glad of them when the place was pretty packed at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night. After checking in at the front... More

This place isnt cheap, but it's worth it. The drinks are strong and are visually pleasing. If you like tiki bars, you'll love this place. Bartenders are friendly, but it'll take a good minute to make your drink.

We started our Friday evening out here and had a great time -- the drinks were surprisingly pretty strong and ambiance was really cool. It's set-up like a tiki bar but how they've transformed the space was really incredible. Would definitely go back.

We loved the Fiji theme, and well executed tropical drinks, though we did think if was a bit dark in the establishment.
