I usually like to eat hot dogs fast, but when eating my Superdawg, I had to slow down to savor the one-of-a-kind flavor a Suoerdawg offers. Unlike any hot dog I've ever have eaten. The fries are ok and be sure to buy a shirt on your way out. more
Pretty good hot dog, but nothing spectacular. Service was so-so. The fries were cold and the carhop never came back to get our tray, so I walked it back inside before we left. I guess the whole drive-in thing is kind of a novelty if there are no Sonics where you live. more

We drove from downtown Chicago to Suprdawg, which took us about an hour and a half (stupid Chicago traffic), but it was worth the wait. It wasn't that the food was so amazing. Good, but average food (I'm not entirely sure how you could screw up a hot dog, but I'm sure it can be done). What really earns my rating is the retro drive-in appeal--it's really a joy to see something like this still going strong. more
This is THE PLACE to go for Chicago style hot dogs. It's a true drive-in complete with car hops. more
