The pizza here is excellent, and worth the wait. The atmosphere is the typical "pizzeria" style, and has a mom & pop feel to it. It took a while to get our pizza, but after a busy day on Michigan Avenue, it was nice to relax and unwind while waiting. Will definitely come back during my next visit to Chicago.

It was our first visit to Chicago and we definitely wanted to try Chicago deep dish pizza. And it was excellent at Pizano's. We were there on Saturday night - it was very crowded and we were seated at the bar. We really enjoyed food, drinks and atmosphere. Service was excellent - very very friendly. Recommend it :)

Ate here with family. We each ordered a separate dish so we could try a few things. But, OMG, the portions of Gnocchi's and cheese tortallini were huge!!! I would recommend the tortallini. It was the best between the pizza and Gnocchi's. Also, it's not your typical thin slice pizza. It's really a thin deep dish style. It was different.... More

Great deep dish pizza. Thin crust is also great, but deep dish is Chicago classic. Hidden gem is dessert - cookie, ice cream, chocolate. Must try.

If you're visiting Chicago or just looking for a new place to try out - don't let this one be it. The server managed to get my slice of pizza tossed onto me when he was serving the slices. This resulted in cheese grease getting on hand and burning it. Did the manager come by at all? Nope. I know... More

There are lots off pizza places in Chicago and some start out good, but then the crowds (and tourists) come and once they clinch the crowds, the quality starts slipping..this is why Giordano's Gino's, Uno's etc. do not have consistent quality. Sometimes they can even be quite awful. Pizano's is maybe less known, but it is consistent and no matter... More

Went thanksgiving evening and got two pizzas to go to carry to hotel and I have to say it was the best thin crust pizza I have ever had. One person has to have gluten free and she said her pizza was great.. I wanted to go back and eat but was voted out because there is so many Resturants... More

Not far off the beaten path that is Michigan Avenue (aka the Magnificent Mile), Chicago has a lot to offer no matter which way you turn. I hadn't heard of Pizano's before but we were in the area, and others' TripAdvisor reviews helped us to give this place a try. This is a physically-cramped restaurant, that was a bit overdone...
