Hands down the best pasta I have had in a long time. Some of our friends suggested a place cal Lou manaltis or something which was so hyped up that we didn't enjoy it. However the next day we decided to re you Pizanos and it was an unforgettable experience. When im back in chicago this will be my first... More

We stopped in this restaurant for dinner while in Chicago. We ordered the thin crust pizza and calamari for an app. The calamari was so chewy that we couldn't eat it. The waiter quickly took it back and took it off our bill with no questions. The pizza was okay...nothing special. One of us ordered a Caesar salad, which was... More

We stopped here before heading to the theater. We were a little concerned about the time so decided not to order pizza as even the thin crust takes 30 minutes. I decided to order the squash ravioli. It came out quickly, but it was 5 greasy raviolis on a plate, no side. For me the filling was too sweet and... More

We had to try Chicago Deep Dish Pizza on our first trip to Chicago. We were not disappointed. Pizano's is recommended by numerous "locals". For $6.75 you can get an individual size deep dish pizza to try. It's perfect. A delicious slice of heaven that we will long remember once we get home.

An area known for deep dish pizza "pies", Pizano's has a thin crust pizza that makes you forget even trying any of the other "Chicago style" deep dish pizzas. Worth a special trip if you're even remotely close. Sports bar atmosphere with attentive service.

For a medium price you get a lot of good food. The atmosphere was nice and we were one of only 2-3 parties in the place on a Tuesday night. So it felt like the staff was hovering over us. Kinda creepy but otherwise good service. We did not try the pizza here but we each tired our own entree.... More

We were recommended by a local to try Pizano's thin crust pizza. After all it is one of Oprah's favorites. The dimly lit restaurant is small but has a warm cozy feel & a decent size bar. Our server was friendly & attentive. We ordered a large thin crust pizza with several toppings. The pizza takes 30min. to cook. The... More

Friendly atmosphere and staff, crowded but homey. Cold by the door in the winter. I hear the thin crust is incredible, but we tried the chicago style and in a comparison with Lou Malnatti's, the sauce had much more depth and the sausage was superior. The two crusts are similar with Lou's being a little more doughy but having a... More

Not a fan of Chicago thick crust pizza... I love Pizanos thin crust. Had a cup of their new Pasta Fagioli soup tonight and it was so creamy and tasty.. just what I needed after walking here from the Hilton on Michigan on a very cold evening.
