With its location on State St., Pizano's had smaller lines than competitors near to Michigan Ave. Appreciate they were able to accommodate our large (11) group and that we did not have to wait in a line stretching down the street. It's a crowed, dark, noisy place with Christmas lights strung just below the ceiling. Appreciated the fact that we... More

After traveling most of the day to get to Chicago, I was excited to try some deep dish pizza. Pizano's was recommended to us from the front desk clerk of our hotel, so being as it was in walking distance we headed to the restaurant. By the time we actually got to the restaurant, they were closing up shop for... More

I have never had deep dish pizza before! It was great and they were very accommodating since I don't like mushrooms but my husband does. The restaurant itself was a little tight and I felt like I was sitting on top of the table next to us but it was overall nice!

We dined at the downtown location closeby the Palmer House Hotel - service was fast and friendly - clean tables dishes glasses - washroom likewise - pizzas were good - price is about right. -- I recommend.

A recent review suggested the goat cheese ravioli. I tried that and would also recommend it. The wait staff are very nice, I found the place relaxing and fun to be in. Good memorabilia to browse at. Thanks !

I'm not sure if it's the crust or what but my friend and I stumbled across this pizza place almost 3 years ago when she had come from CA to see a concert and I came down to stay with her and do the gig too. We had a free night and just walked around, then decided to get pizza... More

My husband and I ended up here after waiting at a table at Giordano's for more than 10 minutes. We got up and left and headed to Pizano's because it got good reviews online. We sat at the bar. I ordered a bloddy mary - it was completely homemade and one of the best I've ever had. We asked the... More

While the spaghetti and marinara may be average, I highly recommend the goat cheese ravioli. This dish is the best I've had. Our first night back in Chicago after a year away and I was back at Pizano's for this dish specifically.

We did a picnic by the fountain and I needed a gluten free option for my son. I had seen their pizza was highly rated so I walked over and saw they have gluten free pizza. It was delicious. It was lunch time on a Monday and I saw a crowded restaurant with happy diners and good customer service. Next... More
