I still swear to everyone this is the best pizza in Chicago. The owners mom still makes the crust every day and several of the staff have been there for over a decade. Spoke to two of them I haven't seen since living there almost 10 years ago. The window opens completely overlooking State St. and you are paying far... More

Italy is the house of pizza but in this restaurant you can eat a very good pizza, very similar at the Italian Pizza. Just the crust is a little bit hard to cut but the tomato and cheese used are very very good. Also the spices that there are on the table are a nice idea, I eat slices of... More

I wanted to try Chicago pizza and I stumbled upon this restaurant in an online "best of Chicago" article. It was SO.Good. We ordered the thin crust pizza and everyone in my party couldn't stop commenting on it. I went to a meeting the next day and mentioned Pizano's and all the locals commented on its great reputation. Note: 1)... More

I grew up in Chicago and consider myself a pizza connoisseur. The thin crust pizza at Pizano's is the best ever!

Trying the deep dish pizza for the first time in Chicago because everyone says I MUST. Surprisingly good pizza! The deep dish pizzas in NYC are usually really doughy and dense. NOT a fan. But after having the deep dish here at Pizano's was an eye opening affair. It almost tasted like the thin crust pizza but put into a... More

When in Chicago you must do deep dish, we were advised to go to Pizano's for good deep dish pizza and it was within walking distance from our hotel. Great atmosphere, great food and service, especially when waited on by "Chach"

We got a pasta a la vodka and a salad, they were both delicious!!! The only negative thing about the place is that when we got there, we asked for an outside table and they told us it would be a 10 minute wait. After 15 minutes i asked how long it would be before we could have our table... More

With its location on State St., Pizano's had smaller lines than competitors near to Michigan Ave. Appreciate they were able to accommodate our large (11) group and that we did not have to wait in a line stretching down the street. It's a crowed, dark, noisy place with Christmas lights strung just below the ceiling. Appreciated the fact that we... More

After traveling most of the day to get to Chicago, I was excited to try some deep dish pizza. Pizano's was recommended to us from the front desk clerk of our hotel, so being as it was in walking distance we headed to the restaurant. By the time we actually got to the restaurant, they were closing up shop for... More

I have never had deep dish pizza before! It was great and they were very accommodating since I don't like mushrooms but my husband does. The restaurant itself was a little tight and I felt like I was sitting on top of the table next to us but it was overall nice!
