Its great time we had friends visited this hotel, wonderful lunch buffet we have enjoyed. Taste and quality are complimenting each other. Excellent choice of hotel for food.

I have been coming to Chicago for 25 years and Gaylord used to be my choice to go. On the last couple of visit To Gaylord, I felt the food and service both are going down. The servers are getting complacent. The food is becoming the "same old". In that light, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience at Indian... More

I truly enjoy the lunch buffet here, it's pricier but the downtown location might account for that. The Indian Garden separates the meat/veggie buffets which is nice. The typical veggie fare offered is two appetizers, salad bar, rice, four main veggie dishes, and two deserts; the meat buffet has a salad and two or three main dishes. The servers will... More

For those who like India cuisine this restaurant offers a treat. When my wife & I visited this establishment in May 2015 many of the diners were Indian families and this is always a sure sign that the food is good and authentic. We were not disappointed. I would certainly recommend.

I don't know why it has been showing on number one in Indian cuisine restaurant list. Food is very average, price is too much high for what they are serving and most important the attitude, it's seems like they don't want to serve their food to Indian guests. Come on guys, you are running an Indian restaurant at least little... More

I had the Sunday brunch while visiting Chicago. I was skeptic as I don't like brunch in general, but I had one of the best Indian meal so far :) there were around seven vegetarian dishes and a couple of fish/meat dishes which I did not try, and two desserts (gulab jamun and kheer). I spent 15 dollars including freshly... More

Whenever I am in Chicago,I always eat from here a couple of times. The location is very Central, the place is huge and done up well. the staff is friendly and most of all,the food is great. Rightly spiced and lots of variety and big servings. I would highly recommend this place for Indian Food. Only thing I found a bit... More

The food here is very authentic Indian and real tasty. They didn't add unnecessary cream or oil to make the food tastier, and the cooks were very well trained in using of Indian spices. Many Indian restaurants' cooks across US do not know how actual Indian food tastes. So they just keep adding spices and butters, and other stuffs. But... More

Was seated quickly on a Friday night. Staff friendly and attentive. The appetizer pate was great. However, the entrees were mediocre. The meat was tender but the sauces were a little soupy. We enjoyed the meal but would not rush back.

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
