Excellent naan and lamb dishes. We were very impressed with the food, less so with the service which was a bit slow. It was my husband's second visit and he would recommend it again for the excellence of the dishes.

We first almost went to the India House but saw a television in the entry and that certainly turned us off as we did not want a "sport's bar" experience for our meal. So we walked on to the Indian Garden which is actually not on the floor level but one must walk up the stairs in the building to... More

The Lunch buffet today was very good. Many vegan options, like Dal Makhani, fried spinach, egg plant masala and others. That way you can have a veggie low carb lunch, if omit the rice and the naan. The food was american spicy and could have been a bit more hot. I enjoyed the nice indian ambiance. Will be back.

We returned to Chicago this summer and headed back to The Indian Garden after the wonderful experience we had last Fall. We again were not disappointed. Some of the best Indian I've found. This will be a regular stop for us whenever we're back in town.

First time back since we visited Chicago two years ago. Dinner still tasty, with a good selection of dishes. Very good chicken murg curry. Only problem was miscommunications over desire to have a dish prepared with white meat chicken. We assumed that when we asked about doing it for one chicken dish, we would not have to repeat the request... More

Food is beyond delicious. We've had many dishes and never been disappointed. Service and ambiance are both equally great. One of my favorite Indian places in the area.

My wife and I ate at the Indian Garden on Friday night. We got a great seat at the window which gave us a great view of the street below. We enjoyed the chicken zafrani very much and the baigan bharta. It is a great place to eat if you have a lot time because the service is a little... More

This restaurant is a wonderful choice. It has a lovely ambience, and the food is delicious. We have been to many Indian restaurants in Chicago, and have been to India, and this is my second favorite Indian restaurant (second only to Viceroy of India). The food is authentic, and spiced but not overly spicy. A little pricey, but worth it.... More

Indian Garden is on the second floor and is attractive with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was prompt. I had the individual vegetarian selection. There was plenty of food. Some of the dishes were good; others not so. The dessert was dry. So OK food in a nice environment
