Really recharged my Indian taste buds. We had no food left out in the table, when we where good to go. If you are away from India and looking for a Indian restaurant, with out hesitation drop down and enjoy. Don't forget to order Samosas.....

This is our second time here and had thought I had reviewed it before but apparently not. My younger son loves Indian food and every time we’re over in London we make sure we have it at least once. Now, in the states finding a good Indian restaurant is very hard. The best I’ve found is in D.C. called Rashika’s... More

You know you've come to the right place when a group of Indian businessmen are having lunch there. The Indian Garden has an excellent lunch buffet 7 days a week. I've been to diner here where you order off the menu and the food is excellent. This review, however, concerns the lunch buffet. Spanning two long tables, maxed out with... More

This restaurant serves Authentic Indian food filled with flavor. One of the best Indian places in the Chicago downtown area. Service exceeds expectations. Also the restaurant is nicely decorated which creates a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended for Indian cuisine enthusiasts.

I have been coming to Chicago for 25 years and Gaylord used to be my choice to go. On the last couple of visit To Gaylord, I felt the food and service both are going down. The servers are getting complacent. The food is becoming the "same old". In that light, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience at Indian... More

I truly enjoy the lunch buffet here, it's pricier but the downtown location might account for that. The Indian Garden separates the meat/veggie buffets which is nice. The typical veggie fare offered is two appetizers, salad bar, rice, four main veggie dishes, and two deserts; the meat buffet has a salad and two or three main dishes. The servers will... More

For those who like India cuisine this restaurant offers a treat. When my wife & I visited this establishment in May 2015 many of the diners were Indian families and this is always a sure sign that the food is good and authentic. We were not disappointed. I would certainly recommend.

I don't know why it has been showing on number one in Indian cuisine restaurant list. Food is very average, price is too much high for what they are serving and most important the attitude, it's seems like they don't want to serve their food to Indian guests. Come on guys, you are running an Indian restaurant at least little... More

Staying in Streeterville

Neighborhood Profile
Streeterville
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
