This restaurant is a wonderful choice. It has a lovely ambience, and the food is delicious. We have been to many Indian restaurants in Chicago, and have been to India, and this is my second favorite Indian restaurant (second only to Viceroy of India). The food is authentic, and spiced but not overly spicy. A little pricey, but worth it.... More

Indian Garden is on the second floor and is attractive with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was prompt. I had the individual vegetarian selection. There was plenty of food. Some of the dishes were good; others not so. The dessert was dry. So OK food in a nice environment

My first time dinning at India garden, the first thing that I noticed when I entered was how lovely the restaurant was decorated. We started out with mango lassi for me and my boyfriend had an Indian beer. Our drinks were good. Being vegetarian and extremely hungry I ordered the vegan thali; it was nice bindi, gobi, and dal, with... More

I really enjoy Indian restaurants and have had a strong preference to Jaipur on Randolph for years, however after eating at The Indian Garden on Ontario I know have to spots I will eat at regularly. The service was a little slow but the atmosphere was nice do I didn't mind it.

The Sunday lunch buffet was superb. Main dishes were a curry chicken (can't remember the name), a flavorful and spicy minced lamb, and Goan fish curry. All were delicious. There was tandoori chicken, but I didn't partake. Every side dish--I think there were about 6-8 of them--were also outstanding. Naan was served at the table. I had just enough room... More

Had a wonderful meal. Didn't like the crispy taco-like things to start. But every thing else was delicious. I had the chicken tikka masala and a paneer. Flavorful without being overwhelming. Enjoyed the two desserts we ordered also. Thought the portions were a little small. But the knowledgeable, attentive service made up for it. Recommended.

Had a good dinner in this restaurant on a cold saturday night in February. This place is open later on friday and saturday. If you do show up around 945pm or later on other days, you will be told they are closed(or chef has left) Tried their Appetizer, Mango Lussi and Kadai Paneer. All the items are decent and of... More
