Warm chips and salsa are abundant. You can get guacamole made at the table which is good. Portions are huge so I suggest to share. Kids meals are right on target. I have never had anything bad here and the margaritas are fantastic. Valet parking is a must as you cannot do it yourself

I have eaten in both restaurants under this name, Old Orchard, and the one at North/Clyborn. Both are worth the visit. The food is wonderful and the staff very friendly, though the barman at the Old Orchard site was a little distracted and not as attentive as he could've been.

Good: Nice, smoky flavored salsa with warm tortilla chips Good: Classic Margaritas are very nice The Rest: The flautas with shredded chicken were the least interesting flautas that I have ever had (perhaps one other time). There was nothing but plain chicken wrapped in a shell!!! What the ???? I expect some sort of sauce or flavor to the chicken,... More

First time here and love the ambience , food is great ! Their ceviche and quesadilla is delicious , the place was packed Sunday night that's probably why we could not find our server when we need something but other wise everything good . Will definitely come back here !

Uncle Julio's is fantastic! If you are looking for casual Mexican dining, this is your place. Be ware that they do not take reservations so during busy times, be prepared to wait. Their queso is amazing along with their homemade chips (they are so thin & delicious)! I have never had anything that I did not fully enjoy from here,... More

The food was great. Their chips and salsa should be marketed as a meal by itself. I had the shrimp al pastor...quite delicious. The mango habanero sauce had just the right amount of kick. Our waiter was very attentive and always kept our chips and drinks full. This was a great night out.

Our friends from Chicago brought us here for Marguerita's, salsa and chips. I only drink the Classic Marguerita which Uncle Julio's serves, needless to say we had 4 each. Good bye Charlie! We did not eat a meal at this restaurant, it was very busy and it is a very large place. Outdoor seating looked nice but was already full.

Because it's so popular, and they don't take reservations, come early for dinner. While waiting for a table, munch on the amazing, warm, fresh tortilla chips and salsa. Our only problem was overeating and getting full on them. We live in a northern suburb and are excited because they are opening their new location in Old Orchard! We might have... More

Uncle Julio's is a wild raucous place that is great for groups celebrating and people with loud children( they are very kid friendly and put families in the back area The food is fantastic - if you order anything mesquite grilled :the steak, ribs ... Amazing the tortillas are made in front of you, the chips are thin and perfect... More
