I always enjoy the Shajahani Chicken Biriyani. Excellent with the Saag Paneer dish complimented with the naan and topped of with the mango kulfi for dessert.

A decent restuarant in a predominantly Asian locality of Devon. The interiors & service was good. Food though Indian was just about average and not upto expectations.

This is a clean and well set up place. One of the rare places where food tastes great and place is clean. When I request them to keep vegetarian uncontaminated from the non-veg. They do so very politely. They make the best Baingan Bharta. My husband goes there just to eat Baingan Bharta and Tandoori Roti. Saag Panner is good... More

Food was good. Service was great. Staff, were polite and patient. They were available all the time, humble and very attentive, yet not pushy at all. There was good Indian classical fusion music playing on the overhead system. Atmosphere was nice. Rest is upon you luck of finding loud people or not. Unfortunately towards later half of our dinner there... More

Went here 2 weeks ago while visiting some friends in Chicago. It was my wife's first time trying Indian food and she loved it. We ordered a few dishes to share including naan, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, chana masala, and lamb biryani. Our favorites were the biryani and tikka masala. Out waiter was helpful with explaining the differences since... More

We went there for a lunch buffet on a weekday. It was not crowded so we got a nice spot and were attended to fairly quickly. The food was mixed. Some of the entrees were really good, others were just mediocre. We were supposed to get hot naans and chicken barbeque served at our table but in terms of that... More

My husband and I have only visited the Lombard location, so I can't speak to the Chicago location. We have been to several Indian restaurants in the area, and Viceroy is, by far, the most authentic (we have been to India, so have the ability to compare). The blend of seasonings is perfect, and they are willing to accommodate requests... More

I treated my son to an Indian dinner and we visited the Viceroy restaurant on Devon avenue. The food was excellent all the way around, from the appetizer to the Paneer Naan, to the entrees. I was so stuffed that I couldn't go for dessert and neither could my son. The service was efficient and helpful, if a tad slow.... More
