In a city of high restaurant prices, this is a great place to get a good meal at a decent price. You can easily hike up your food costs by perusing the pastry/dessert cases. The staff can be a bit gruff, but the food is worth it.

This place is good for coffee, tea, muffins, croissants but don't order the hot breakfast. The hot breakfast are not hot since they're premade and you order from a display case. The turnover of the hot breakfast is quite slow so you're better off ordering a muffin or croissant.

As a strict reviewer in Trip Advisor I never rate a place as "Excellent" unless it's really amazing and totally worth-going. I had my worst pizza experience throughout my life in this restaurant. The pizza dough was too thick and dry. There were nearly no cheese on the pizza. I would never go there again. The pizza sauce could be barely felt. It was a very bad experience

L'Appetito is well hidden so you have to look closely on Michigan avenue beneath the towers. They have freshly made subs and sandwiches, pizza and various salad options. It gets extremely busy during lunch but not to worry, the line moves quickly. Go right to the front and get a ticket as soon as you enter. They also have amazing... More

An easy to find food and pastry shop at the base of the John Hancock building. They have delicious gelato. I recommend the burnt caramel. A little pricey, but worth it for a special treat!

Across the street from the Westin. Very affordable breakfast, served hot and was delicious I would recommend this for a sit down bacon and eggs breakfast if you are in the Michigan avenue nieghbourhood
