Quick service and good food

Great place to grab a quick sandwich and drinks for lunch. We took ours to the beach and had a nice picnic. Food was very good and they had a very good selection to choose from.

I was excited to go into this cute bakery and pick out some treats. The baked goods looked delicious so we picked 3 to share: an éclair, lemon cookie, and berry torte. Everything was dry, the torte and éclair lacked any flavor. The lemon cookie had nice flavor, but was overly sweet, dry, crumbly. It was not worth the caloric intake... More

Stopped here for coffee after visting the Hancock building. Had an espresso and a delicious lemon cookie. Sat outside by the fountain. Wonderful service.

This is a quick place to grab a sandwich. We were visiting my sister-in-law at the hospital and one of the locations was within walking distance so we went there for lunch. We were very pleased and would return. The Italian pressed sandwiches were great.

Nice prosciutto, mozzarella, and basil innards but the bread was horrible. Day old, soft, junk. I'd find it hard to believe that they'd stay in business long if they gave the locals this. For the $8.50 this sandwich costs, I should have gone to Eataly up the street.

I often stop in this quaint Italian cafe/ market when visiting Chicago. They offer a wide array of food including a variety of unique pastries, coffees, and wines. The deli has breakfast or lunch sandwiches, prepared anti-pasti dishes, and many other items. You can also pick up fresh pasta to make at home along with other Italian grocery items. It's... More

It's easy to grab a slice of pizza or a sandwich here. But it always feels a little greasier and less flavorful than it should.

I have always enjoyed this little eatery for breakfast while on previous visits to Chicago. Today's visit was a huge disappointment. Customer service was rude and poor, our order was incorrect (they were not busy at all) food was cold, coffee was bitter. Prices were high for the quality of food & service. Not sure I'll be returning.

Located at the lower level steps of the John Hancock building, L'appetito is a good option for a quick bite to eat. Needless to say, this isn't 7-Eleven, but a higher end grab and go featuring hot and cold meals.
