I dine all over the country and this is by far the best one I have been to. The food always great and one of the best steaks in Chicago. Great place to visit when you are in town!
Nice atmosphere, got a table quickly, staff were nice. But, food was very average and very expensive. My dinner alone was $127 which included the tip. Only had 4 beers and no desert. The ribeye delmanico signature steak was tough and I almost needed A1 sauce! too many other nice places in Chicago where food is better and more cost... More
The Capital Grille in Chicago is one of the best steak restaurants in Chicago. The service is great , the food is amazing and the price is well... expensive. For a Fine Dining experience, or a nice business dinner, the Capital Grille is a great choice.
We booked our reservation for Valentines and when we arrived were greeted right away and seated promptly. Tables were all in a side room and wasn't quit set up for guests but just after we were seated they placed rose petals on all the tables to finish off the touches. Fernando our waiter was the best part of the evening.... More
We choose this restaurant as a convenient location and good revues on Tripadvisor. The experience was even better then expected. The menu was good and and food was delicious and nicely presented. The service was excellent and the pace of food coming out was just right. Usually i stay away from deserts but here i couldn't skip it. The drinks... More
Being a huge fan of steaks and a very eager traveler, I have happened to tried Capital Grille in various cities, and here in Indianapolis, it still didn’t fail to satisfy me. From the finger-licking appetizer salad to the super juicy meat with the mouth watering dressings, everything reminded me all over again why I visit this place! I had... More
I have dined at several Capital Grille's around the country and I think I caught this one on a bad night. It started with a 20 minute wait for a table reserved 2 weeks prior. It got worse when our waiter was too busy to provide us with any decent level of service and it completely fell apart when the... More
I like nice steak places... this place looks the part. Great wine list, traditional appetizers. White linen. I had the bone in ribeye. It was seasoned and cook to a spot on medium rare. The problem is for $47 (a price common for high end steak and chop houses) the quality of the meat itself was why you would find... More
We have dined at many of the Capital Grille restaurants through out the country and, although all were very good, we consider this the best! The steaks are always outstanding, the fish offering are exception and the entire menu contains something for everyone's taste. Service staff is always friendly, efficient and available without being intrusive. Prices are on the high... More
Four of us ate here one evening on the recommendation of some friends in the UK. The evening started off well, we were early so had some drinks at the bar. The decor both outside and in is lovely and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. After being seated we ordered our food. The starters were fine, smoked salmon,... More
