Was in Chicago attending a large convention and had the opportunity to dine twice at the Chicago Firehouse. Seafood Appetizer, Filet and Grilled Asparagus the first night and the Ribs and Polenta the second were both amazing. They also serve a great Oregon Pinot Noir. Their wine cellar was great for a group dinner and the booth was cozy for... More

The food was DELICIOUS!!! The mood was great for a romantic dinner. Our waiter was a little strange but he knew his stuff about food! His recommendations were spot on & we loved our food!!

As we kick-off our campaign to restore civility to fine dining, we can think of no better place to start than The Chicago Firehouse. Recently, we entertained a large and international group of business guests there, and everything was perfect. As the hosts, we were able to relax and to enjoy our company, instead of worrying about whether folks were... More

So surprised by how mediocre this restuarant is. the bar area is beautiful and there is some seating there. when we first arrived they sat us in the room adjacent which has no ambience whatsoever. it felt like a stuffy old hotel dining room. the hostess did agree to seat us in the bar area when we asked to move.... We were invited to a family gathering at the Chicago Firehouse and were put with our party of 20 in the basement wine cellar. A great surprise as the atmosphere in this old fire house is awesome, the staff went out of their way to make our party a big success and the food was very good. I'd for sure... More

We liked the location a lot and got a nice tour from the hostess and I can imagine it'd be a great location in the summertime to people watch. We had cocktails, appetizers, and dinner. The menu and drinks are a bit pricey, but overall all of the food was quite good, however one of my family members ended up... More

I came here for a business lunch and had a nice experience. Service and food were very good. I liked the decor and feel. A little pricey for what you are getting would be my only complaint.

We were great by a nice hostess that gave us a tour of the restaurant and its history as an old firehouse. The tables were right on top of each other, but the food was delicious.
