A visit to Eli's Cheesecake World won't soon been forgotten. Upon entering the modest cafe/retail shop, it's hard to imagine these heavenly delights are made just yards away behind the inner walls. The selections of cheesecakes and other yummy dessert items is awesome. You'll have to try a slice or two to taste test for for favorite kind. Free samples... More

Although it has been there a while, I only discovered it in the last few months. The frozen Eli's items range from large cheesecakes of different flavors to small ones. There are discounted not so perfect ones too. In addition to cheesecake, you will find muffins, layer cake, popovers, scones, cookies and cinnamon rolls baked fresh each day. Try their... More

My sweet tooth was aching for something good and I noticed the cheesecake shop while walking around the concourse. Ended up getting a dutch apple cheesecake that was heavy on the apple and easy on the cheesecake. I wasn't complaining a bit about it though. Most important, the cheesecake was very good, I got a pretty good price (for the... More

Eveeybody loves a good cheesecake. Eli's was recommended to me by a friend. He said don't leave Chicago till you've had their cake. Well, I didn't. What I liked the most was the fact that they had samples for almost every other cake. Helped me make up my mind - or rather narrow the list down. It's a great place... More

I found these guys as one of the vendors at the Taste of Chicago food festival. I helped my sister move to Chicago since she accepted a job there and me along with my folks decided to check out the food festival to see and sample all the different kinds of food they had there. I had the turtle cheesecake... More

We decided to go directly to Eli's instead of having it at a pizza place in Chicago. At the place it was over $5 a slice and at Eli's it was $3-4 for a slice. The best cheesecake I have ever had. We had hoped to make the tour but could not make it at 12:30. From the reviews it... More

No tour available for today but that didn't stop us from going. Well worth the drive!!! We arrived in time for lunch and thoroughly enjoyedhad the fresh roasted turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and Parmesan mayo, which came with a slice of cheesecake in the flavor of our choice! Darn good lunch for $6.95! They had three samples to taste... More

We were in the Chicago area so we added this to our itinerary. We got there early so we bought our tour tickets ($3 per person) and had lunch in their cafe. They offered various hot and cold sandwiches, fruit cups, soda, etc., and of course, lots of different flavored cheesecakes plus a few other desserts. The lunch was very... More

Went to Eli's a few days ago and it was great. They are extremely generous to offer you multiple samples. They have pretty much every flavor and type of cheesecake you can imagine. If you don't mind a dented cake or slice, they have damaged items heavily discounted. The staff was friendly and they have extra food and drinks to... More

Do not go to Eli's if you expect a tour. We paid our $3 per person and then were told to sit in the "cafe" for the tour to start. The one tour a day starts at 12:30 pm. A gal named Madge gave a 30+ minute slide show of how much cream cheese they use, how much sugar, etc.... More
